![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i keep 26w cfls about 6-8 inches away from my seedlings and clones and never do they stretch. also they are under light from the time they pop out of the soil..even sooner really. i find the key to be blue light.... during the first week of there life they like the blue. whenever i put them under hps too soon they stretch. even though the light is much more intense. after the first week or so of life i put them under teh big light and all is fine ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey guys I am don;t know if I am jsut expecting to much, or being impatient. My seed has sprouted from my rockwool cube, it will be a week on sunday. The sprout is about an inch above the rockwool, but has yet to loose the seed on the very tip. When would you normally see this to happen? I still have it under my humidity dome, and T8 fluorescent 4 inches from the top of the dome. I weighed a dry rockwool cube, and compare it to my moist rockwool cube, so it defiantly has enough water. Water is ph'd to 5.8 and I have added a little SuperThrive that my local hydropnics shop guy reccoemnded (i have used it since day 1). So am I jsut being impatient or does it normally take around a week for the sprout to shake off the seed and start to form some baby leaves? Cheers! ![]()
