Does anyone have an opinion on these peat pots? They were only $2.49 for 15. They don't have any info on the package as far as Ph, nutes, etc. If they don't harm the plants or soil then it would make for a extremely easy move to the next container. Maby its just better to stay with the solo cup's. What do you fellow growers think?

It is mainly peat and lime and pot loves it. The peat pots will dissolve great in the mix when you transplant. You know same materials and all.

![]() | I disagree. peat is not considered a good moral decison to use anymore find yourself some coco core built pots it is more friendly to the enviroment. asfar as growing inside of them goes, I find the root system tends to be alot weeker when started inside of these pots, they seem to fight to break out of the pots and I have also had mold problems. Also I have had plants outdoors die in them because of the huge rate that the peat can suck mositure from soil and living plant material. for a marijuana grower in Canada east, they are just not suitable, but your situation could be completly dif. | ||
