A good friend gave me some seeds form his last outdoor grow which produced some excellent stuff. No idea what kind of seeds they are. I was thinking about using them in a future indoor hydro grow but I am just worried about infecting my grow cabinet. I am very careful with my cab and always sanitize my hands before going in and never for instance mow the lawn and then immediately go work in my cab without changing clothes and washing up. Maybe I'm worried for nothing but I would sure hate if if these seeds carried in some outdoor nasty. Is there a way to wash them or sterilize the seed case before planting? Thanks, Spud

| I can't think of anything a seed would bring into your grow. I soak mine in water with a drop of hydrogen peroxide per ounce water, that will sterilize/disinfect them.

| Wow you sanitize your hands each time you go into your grow room?? *cough* OCD *cough*  Unless there is a mushroom growing off your seed I think you should be fine.

| Thanks for the advice. Wow. No one's ever called me OCD before. If you knew me you'd realize how preposterous that sounds. I just want to be very careful about contaminating my grow cab. It's a lot easier to prevent something than it is to fix it after. When I started doing this I came across a thread about keeping things clean and have tried to use that advice ever since. Didn't everyone sanitize their cabinet before starting their grow?
