![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | its been 8 days and the seeds havent germed, they are sitting in a dvd case inside a wet paper towel...its definitly warm inside, you can feel the heat. and they havent sprouted, they have water, heat, and darkness. and still nothing. im running out of time to grow, i just got ahold of 8 good looking seeds: big, green, almost fresh it seems. im tempted to use the same method as usal but it hasnt worked out for the other seeds. any advice? the other seeds may have been bad.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | lol thier pot seeds, i just got the seeds 10 min. ago. They are all brown, my problem is germing them. im going to try the same method like usally. If these dont go...then its probily going to be too late to get more seeds and actually grow.

if they are green, then they arent even close to being mature, wich would explain your problem.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was told that they were green, before i got them. yes i had some doubts about it when i heard it but now that i can look at them i know they are not. The seeds do not look imature to me and they are the right size. Meaning not to small.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | first of all when it comes to seeds you need to start with fresh stock of good genetics to get consistent germination rates. in my opinion presoaking is an altogether unecessesary practise and especially isn't recommended for beginners..its too much stress on them at the most crucial point of their lives. also the tapwater your soaking in has chlorine in it..the paper towel has bleach in it as well... even with low ppm spring water its not worth the cost of the water.. best to start directly in your medium. My remedy or preference would be to start seeds directly in peat pods, rockwool cubes or your soil mix in a small 4 inch pot. Only using the ripe seeds the immature seeds are likely not worth your soil. ![]() and dont be so hard on yourself.. its more about science than luck.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I apprecate your help but i have already tried directly to the soil and still nothing. Im useing well water not tap so i doubt water is the problem. i just put some new seeds in the towel so hopefully those will go. And im ordering some from attitude seed bank.
