![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ive gotten seeds from banks that where from white to brown to green and brown and all shades and sizes in between whatever. seed colour doesnt always mean something because there is many variables and thousands of strains. ive had light/small seeds grow on and become very nice plants. I doubt banks would sell them if they were infertile, they wouldnt last long. you might always get a few that dont crack its luck of the draw. try and keep temps between 22- 28 celicuis is good. and keep them damp Ive had seeds take as long as 6- 8 weeks to get going so patients is also good

![]() ![]() ![]() | I ordered from the Doc a little while ago, all from Nirvana. 10 white widow, 10 bubblicious, 10 cali O. I started to germ 5 ww and 5 bl about 3-4 days ago. The BL sprouted taproots within a day or two, stretched a considerable bit, planted them and they're already above soil. I can't say as much for the 5 white widow. 2 popped taproot, but the tail just emerged a very little bit and ever since, it never grew out more. The other three showed no signs of popping yet. At first I thought it might just be common for this strain to take a while to germinate, but when I see the taproot only coming out such a short distance and stopping, I'm thinking there might be a problem with the seeds, or how they were stored? I'm certainly giving them more time and I'm not giving up hope yet. The two that showed the little taproot I just went ahead and planted, and the other 3 are still in the paper towel. I germed them all the exact same way, same piece of paper towel even. I just rewrapped the 3 with a new paper towel, and beforehand I poured a small cup of lukewarm water, they all sank, so I just wrapped em back up in the paper towel. ![]() Think they could be old seeds or something?

Try your attitude seeds in the same soil when they arrive you'll see its the seeds not the soil. Just out of curiousity how deep did you plant them in the soil ? Did you make sure to keep the soil moist? For the germination in soil I'd use a cloche of some kind to keep in the humidity just until the seeds pop above the surface. It's important to remove the cloche as soon as they pop out of the soil or medium.
