I've heard many times that hermie plants are garbage because any seeds that come from hermie's or their pollen will tend to hermie as well, even under good conditions.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Salutations & Hallucinations, I've read that as well, and the chemical used to cause the "branch" to change sex is "Gibberellic Acid" I believe it could be applied to a single branch of a "Female" not hermy, plant to cause that particular branch to change sex creating "Male" flower which will produce male pollen. The collections methods vary but, most common way is to wrap a plastic bag around the branch in question and after pollenation tapping the branch gently to dislodge any pollen and causing it to settle to the lowest corner of said bag to be "VERY CAREFULLY" cut away from the plant. The bag is then moved to a different location to be "VERY CAREFULLY" removed from the branch. Pollen can be collected into vials, capped and stored for later use. At least thats one way i've read it is done.. And, no they do not use the seed from the same plant pollenated (as i've done (doing)). ![]() Good luck on your adventure of becommiing a Breeder, someday (when I grow up) I might wanna be one Have a Wonderlicious Day don p.S. here' the latest pic of my (5) lil Girl seedlings under a 24" Sun Blaze 6500K HOT5, well pulled to formation for photos Sowed 7.16, sprouted 7.19

If you have any other questions put them in here and if I dont get back to you pm me or something. thinking on this I have to say that I have a personal reason for the disliking of feminized seeds, I think it is deleterious to cannabis genetics to put a whole ton of potentially hermy plants out into the world. Cannabis is a gendered plant for a reason, to promote genetic diversity inside the cannabis genome. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors and I hope those plants treat you well.
