| I've been germinating some seeds recently and deciding which ones to sprout based mostly upon the color of the seeds. Most people say there are "tiger stripes" on the most virile seeds. If anyone can find a good picture depicting these, could you please [pm me] or post it on this thread? If you don't know how, there is a post under the category "MyCannibus Pictures" in the thread "Pictures of male and female cannibus flowers" that was posted by Observer. This has a post that explains how to do it. Last edited by Mendrel; 09-07-2006 at 10:29 PM.. Reason: removed email address | ||

| Rotary11 I can't supply you with the picture at this time, but this may be of some help. Not ALL strains produce striped seed. Many do however. When comparing seeds from the same source side by side, you will undoubtably notice that some are lighter in color than others.Deep rich colors OR prominent stripes are a good indication of maturity.I have seed examples that are grey/green, tan w/stripes and deep brown.I'll also mention that size is a genetic factor, sativas generally lean toward the small side, indicas to the larger .Very pale or malformed seed is usually discarded | ||
