how deep do u plant a seed into the soil?

This is what I do bro...Push your finger into the soil up to your first knuckle,drop the seed,then cover it up.works fine

I poke the soil with my pinky finger til the first joint of my finger is buried. Then I drop the seed and bury. I like to keep my seeds just buried enough so that I can't see them. Then I mist the pot for a minute with hot water. 75% come up with bag seed.

That'd be approx 1/2" deep. I use the finger gauge as well it takes the guess work out of it.
