| I recently bought a HUGE bag of hemp seeds at a local super-store ( i didnt know they were legal here!!!), markes "hemp seeds" and at the back "cannaboid" (in greek), and contained about 500 seeds. I picked it up in the herbs secion for 0.14CYP ( 0.2USD ). I believe it is natrual hemp, will i get anything out of the plant? Will it flower etc? Will i get high? | ||

| Sounds like bird seed to me. Birds love that stuff because it's very very nutricous. Chances are pretty damn good that any plant you're able to grow out from those seed will be extremely low in THC. They'll be capable of flowering and all that but the buds wont be worth smoking. The strains of hemp used for industry and the birdseed/hempseed oid business contain almost no THC whatsoever. Sorry to disapoint you. | ||

| Is there a way I can make it more rich in THC?? Ive sprouted about 20, atleast if i smoke ALL the buds i DO get in 1 day, there is a slight possibility of getting anything out of it and also a Large possibility of gettin cancer . Do you know of any seed banks that are reliable and WILL send internationally, and guarantee that my seeds wont get seized? | ||

| are you in the US? If so, and the seeds you got sprouted, they're illegal to be sold...only seed that can't germinate is legal in the US...hemp seed is great, I put it on salads all the time...it's got some essential fatty acids and stuff that you can't get anywhere else, they're also great for reducing menstrual pain for women... | ||

| Unless you want to make rope it's not worth the risk or trouble. And if there was no risk or trouble? It still wouldn't be worth growing those things. Not if you want to smoke them. Yes, there are seedbanks that ship internationally. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that'll ship to you. You might want to check this page out: http://www.angelfire.com/ga/greenmanspage/current.html It tries to rate the various on-line seed banks and sort out some of the bad from the good. You should check out the 'Buying Online' thread. We've been talking about this very subject there. | ||
