My friend thinks germinating seeds on top of a computer monitor will make themm radioactive. Should I kick his ass for making such a stupid ass comment or is he right?

I got exactly 30 seeds out of my bag, some of the seeds weren't fit for planting but I tried germinating them anyway. 15 seeds have sprouted, is this a good percentage? I used the cheap method of sprouting them (ie. tissue and plastic bag).

There are no radioactive substances in a computer monitor. Just harmless RF energy and heat created by the discharge of plasma. Geez...
