| Hello, I started 16 seeds in Jiffy peat pellets and they have been outside for 8 days now. A few days ago I didn't get my plants in before a huge downpour and the tray got filled with water and sat for about a half a day or so. At this time I'd say that most of the seeds have germinated but they are not growing any bigger. I moved the soil off the top of a few of them and the seeds were all broke open with the little white roots hanging out. I'm beginning to think that they may have been drowned and I don't know whether I should dump them or let them sit a little longer because I need to get some out soon. Thanks in advance for any help. | they probably are not toast yet my friend just burrie the roots and lightly pack moist dirt around them keep them partially shaded, warm and out of the rain for now you will see in a few days if they will make it or not seedlings are general pretty tuff in my experiance unless your seeds are weak or poor quality. | ||
