Hello fellow gardeners. I was wondering, after reading most of the other topics, if it is better to start them in a bigger pot to begin with so as not to cause the little darlings to go into shock. I will be ready to plant soon and would like to know where to go from there. Thanks
!!

Howdy TheWeedQueen and Welcome to Hempcultivation.com

Many people have many opinions on this one. But the general rule of thumb is to transplant as little as possible.

If you are growing in soil and sprout a seed there is a chance that the bottom of the pot will become soggy and stunt your plant if not kill it. A soilless mix will drain well enough to almost prevent overwatering ... Then there is hydro, aero, and bubblers oh and aquaculture... but I digress...

I like to try and transplant as little as possible but usually it works out to twice once after germination then again before flowering. Next time I am going to try something new I've been thinking about

Good Growing

Thank you lilbuddie, that helps some, I think I am going to go with a medium pot and see from there. I have got a pretty green thumb and think my insticts will tell what I need to know from there. This is my first time with this particular type of plant! !!
Anymore info would be appreciated!

Good News!! I planted my little darlings yesterday and the day before as they started to sprout and already they are reaching for the sky. I have 11 planted and 5 of them are up. I am so excited. Any other info would be very helpful right now. I have printed out the growers guide and read practically every question posted so I think I have the basics but any helpful hints would be great thanks.
