| I just tried to germinate my seeds on Monday, two days later (Wednesday) only one has germinated. I would rather wait untill at least one other has germinated to plant. So my question is how long should I wait before planting. Should I plant right when I see the white root sticking out? Also if none germinate in another day or two would it be bad for the little seedling if I do not plant it? thanks -raptor | ||

| Raptor, don't wait, plant right away when you see the white tap root. Your seed needs all the strength it can muster the minute it breaks through it's shell to continue growing. It is at this stage it will need the nutrients from it's growing medium. Planting with the tap root too long will reduce it's chance of breaking through the soil. | ||

| Yep, get em in their medium right away, you don't want to damage the root or you're done. Use no nutes at this stage till they've begun growing leaves. Then start feeding them with a dilute fert, slowly increasing it's strength. The cotyledons (seed leaves) contain all the nutrition the seedling needs till it starts producing it's own. D9 | ||
