I just planted one seed in a plastic cup about 1/4 inch below the soil, I haven't done anything like put it in between two towels or anthing. Should I have done that because it's not too late to get it out? The soil is a little moist and it's under a flouresent light bulb getting heat. Should I take it back out? Should I leave it like it is? Help me out I'm a first timer...

![]() | you could leave it in the dirt, but I would recomend covering the cup with a plastic baggy to keep it from drying out if you decide to do it this way. you could also take it out and follow the instruction on the post for Germonating 101.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | sounds fine, dont drench the soil, keep ventilation holes in the cup, for drainage and O. then the main ingredient, patience! if you just put it in the soil, yes, its probably not too late to take it out, but it is perfectly fine in there. faster germination rates are reported with the paper towel method, but it's not a necessity. peace LFD
