well i just started getting into growing again, so i attempted to germinate my old BGCA Mix Seeds, and after 48 hours there all sprouting, kinda surprised me since on HS site they said seeds have a shelf life of 2 years, if stored, i left mine laying around for 2 years and they still worked anyway i covered the pots with plastic wrap for humidity, im wondering if i should turn on the light or just leave them until they pop threw the soil.

glad to hear that.

NO.. they don't need lights right now... just let them in a dark and warm place... you'll see the sprout braking thru the soil and as soon as you see that take off the plastic and pout that baby under lights.

they don't need a heater, just room temperature and a dark place will work... you can close all the windows to generate some heat, you need heat to evaporate the water and re-create the "rain" effect.
