Quagmire is beginning to sprout.
Exclamation HELP my babies are dying!
permalink

Hey I just planted the germinated seeds in 2-gallon pots about 4-5 days ago. 14 sprouted just fine for now, but about 5 of them popped their heads above ground and seem to be stunted with yellow cotyledons. (is it a coincidence these are the free skunk #1 seeds from SD?)

How often should I be watering these sprouts?

And should the soil be moist at all times?

The humidity is between 23% and 30% and I can't seem to raise it because the exhaust is sucking all the humidity out of the room.

Please help!

Here's a pic - I'm not sure if this thread belongs here or the nursery...

I would make some type of humidity tent around the lil ones. Raise the humidity level up that way. Looks like they are drying up. PEACE

i almost cried when i saw these pics...well this has never happened to me even with 'not real good seeds'. Germinate them in a paper towel and try that method, and se ehow it works for you after they sprout usually for me they are about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches long them plant....they are pretty strong by the time they see daylight.....Hope I helped later =]
