Well it took only 2 days for seeds to pop another 2 for them to break through soil. I was not prepared for them to germ so fast. So, I have them under 2-40 watt floro's(utility-7000) in grow room. They have been under lights for 12 hours. I will be using floro's 24/7 for 2 weeks then switching to MH and changing to 18/6. My temp in room at 6:00 am is 64 degrees, Humidty is 84. I have a fan on them. Is this to cold and to much humidty? If so how do I compensate. Thanks | ||

...The temp is about 10 degrees too low. Hey when they are up, go with the mh right away but keep it high. This will warm up the room and really make them take off quick. When they have a few sets of leaves, lower the light to about 18 inches to 2 feet. good luck... JG

| I'm with jamesgang, get the temp up and get them under the MH as soon as, they will stretch and get spindly under those flouros. How powerful is that MH as in what is it's wattage or lumens? | ||

| Still waiting for ballast to show which is switchable. It's 1000 watt. I have mh for veg and hps for flower. I read that having sprouts under floro's is best for 2 weeks because of the low level of heat??? I also "just" read that higher humidity is ok if not better for sprouts??? Thanks all. | ||
