What is hormonal seed soak solution, and will it lead to genetic mutations if I soak my seeds in it?

I don't think it's really necessary to soak seeds in any type of nutrient-based solution... Plan 'ol water will do the trick... They'll get the necessary starting nutes they need right outta the seed husk.

I agree except I always use distilled water and only soak for 24 hrs. before putting them into soil.
