  | Green is fresh ,fresh is usually quick at germinating and seem like the first set of leaves take longer to turn yellow the cotyledons which is a sign of health to me anyway .

| Light green or white seeds mean they were prematurely picked and the seeds have not fully developed. A good seed will be tan or a brownish color. Like these Not like these I have had better luck germinating darker green or tannish colored seeds. Just adding my  Peace

| Hey man... don't let the colour fool ya... I've got a few lovely plants at the mo, that came from light green immature seeds, and they smell and look gunjarific!!! so if its all you've got, definately plant it...  Check out dis purple flower.... good luck   | ||
