![]() | Hi everyone, this site is really great, very imformative. My question is regarding germination without a humidity dome. My friend claims i absolutely need one until i explained to him that pot has been growing all over the world for thousands, if not millions of years. Im not going out to buy a humidity dome, i think its total "bells and whistles" b.s. but if you guys say i do, i will drape a plastic baggie over it. What do you think? Neccessary? or not really, as long as you keep the soil damp or moist?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The requirement for a humidity dome depends on the relitive humidity in the growspace ![]() >70% no need <70% and there will be some transpiration issues facing your new crop right from the word go, so a humidity dome is recomended ![]() Remove the dome twice a day to exchange the air San ![]()
