i received seeds on Friday from doc chronic. they were skunk x big bud and the doctor; i immediately put 4 seeds in to sprout. Two of each. I used the paper towel methed, which i have used before with good results: lay 1 paper towel flat on the counter, lay the seed or seeds to be sprouted on the paper towel; soak the paper towel with distilled water; roll up the paper towel. i has now been almost 48 hours and only one seed has sprouted (a doctor, from greenhouse seeds) am i doing something wrong? have I simply not allowed enough time? the bagseed that i have sprouted in the past would show definite signs before this. what should i do. i know that in the past the doc has been accused of selling old seed, but given the extremely rapid shipment, good stealth, and the free seed the doc enclosed, i simply don't believe this. also, the skunk x big bud seed said on the packet that it was guaranteed to sprout 100%. the doc ships all seeds in the breeders packets, and that is the way i got mine. any thoughts would be appreciated. ![]() | Keep them in a slightly warm place, like behind a TV or computer Monitor. somewhere they are always about 75*F. I have never used he germination method and just stuck in soil. Works for me. dont know if you knew about the warmth thing, but hey, figure i would give a hand. The guys are right, usually takes a little while. Dont freak yet, give em another 4-6 days and keep them moist. the Pot Gods will bless you with some taproots. Good Luck! Johnny-O's paper plate trick is a great way from what i hear as well.

you'll also want to keep a close eye to make sure the paper towel doesnt dry out, keep it moist I've had beens sprout a tap root in less than 24 hrs, as well as 5 days, so don't hit the panic button just yet and if as you say they came with a (100% guarentee to sprout) sounds like you'll be entitled to a re-placement order if they fail to sprout just my thought Stoney

![]() | Hopefully everything works out for you ! I know exactly how you feel when seeds don't germ.. im a new grower myself, and I must say.. time seems to pass by extra slow when germinating the seeds, but flies by once they germ and is placed into the pots.
