well ever since i accidentally left my seedbucket sit out in the rain ive been sitting here picking through my seeds trying to pick out the most viable looking ones

now i have seeds of every color variety shape size shiny ones dull ones tiger striped ones solid ones and every other combination a seed can be

and as im sitting here slowly picking through what could easily be 5000 seeds
im wondering if there has been any actual research into seed identification

i mean has there been someone who just sat down and catalogued what each seed looked down to the minute detail and then tried to germ each one

and to see if some sort of pattern exists to determine wether color shape size strpied or not actually turns out to be some sort of indcator as to what the plant might be : indica or sativa, male or female, viable or non-viable......

and i was thinking........since i have damn well enough seeds to plant a field full i could maybe experiment

so if anyone could think up some possible things for me to catalog about the seeds that would be helpful

as such i must tell you that these seeds are unidentified seeds

its sorta like a blind test really because i dont care what its name is.
i want to know what correlation seed characteristics have to do with final product if any at all so that perhaps future generations of greenthumbs may not have to wonder what the hell they are planting.

That is too bad. I could tell from looking at that seed that it was going to be a huge yielder, purple (very purple), female, and like 35% THC. Oh yea, and it should have been grown indoors with a 5 week flowering time and yielded 2+ pounds.

The rest of the seeds in that picture are all males.

thats a good question, i actually googled that a while ago myself... i lerned that right now there isnt a way of determining prior germination, u`d have to look at plant color, texture, width, heigth, flowering period, thc content, smell, smoke, etc.... but for all those seeds u`d need a lifetime..or u could send a couple to the experienced growers on here and have them track everything, or u could just pass them off as a seed u just crossbred and make up names for them...ie. "ayo homie I made this by crossbreeding bulba-gum and afghani-saur...i call it 'bulbasaur'...it get u lit!" or somethin like that...what do u need all those seeds for anyway? u kno wut u can do? sell it as mystery bud for cheaper prices...u would steal business right away from those overpriced seed banks...how about 5 for 20..10 for 30..15 for 35........sorry...im all about money and sometimes i get a lil carried away....
