no. thats silica, something different. they do look like silica. these are water polymer crystals, put some in a clear plastic cup, and add water to them, they congeal, and create the perfect germination environment, just add seeds, and place in a warm spot.

well so far ive gotten about 95% of the ones i put in the mesh germed

the only ones so far that havnt were a few stray white seeds i didnt see when i put them in

and since they are not viable seeds im not counting those

ive got a few regular dark seeds that havnt popped yet

im going to bust out the old razor blade and scrape off the outer coating of the seed and pop em that way
