![]() | Now i have been searching some of the seed bank sites mentioned on this board and have noticed that most of them sell regular seeds and then they have feminized seeds at a higher cost. I am considering purchasing seeds in the near future and was wondering if it is really worth spending up to 2wice as much for fem seeds? Should I just save my money and by regular seeds and plan on cloning? Also i am undecided on different breeds. I want something thats gonna be a good/high quality bud, but is also gonna put out some moderately good yield. I am also considering a personal special occasion breed. something thats gonna knock my socks off Here is a list of considerations Orange crush blueberry bubble berry haze (which one is best so many of them) chronic buddah northern lights (again awhole lot of cross breeds) White widow These are some of the many i can think of off the top of my head Also who has the best prices overall. Ive noticed a few post mentioning Heavens Stairway is the most reliable in getting seeds back to customers. They seem to be the least expensive as well. Is this a correct assumption?

Ok I havent read the MJ genetics forum yet. Im just getting to understand the basics. You know germing, lighting, soil vs water, ferts and nutes, ph, etc... I need to get used to the search thingy. I would think i am better at it than most people who first stumble onto the site. I didnt post my first thread till almost a month after first happening upon it. Part of the reason......paranoia....... another cause i like to research and learn. Even bought a book on simple hydroponicsUnfortunatley i can only read so much a nite and there is a plethora of info on this site (and I have only scratched the surface)that sometimes you just want a quick and dirty answer from ppl without having to work for it. But thanks for pointing me in the right direction. But there was another purpose to this post and that was to get ppls comments on breeds that i mentioned. If you would care to guide me in the right direction in regards to breeds, please do.

![]() | Ok, I was thinking about the same problem a few weeks ago, until I read in my new weed book, its a good idea to go for the feminized. For one thing, a **** load of bud, and two: If by any chance of "someone" finding your garden, mind as well have the females than a bunch of males. Because to the court system a plant is a plant. Go for the GOLD!

![]() | Its really a preference...U get more of a variety if you dont get the feminized, but if u do, then U know about 9-out of 10 seeds will be female...watch out though...some fem.strains have a tendency 2 grow hermies so do your homework on the strain U plan 2 purchase if it is feminized.....right now, I'm growing dp's powerplant, mazar, and one blueberry...all feminized....its my first grow so we will see how the results come out ....but on my next grow, I plan on growing burmese, ak-47, and another(undecided) strain...and they are all strains that have 2 be sexed (non-feminized)......so do like me......see what works best 4 U and if the potency is worth the time 2 sex, there are a lotta strains out there.... IN SHORT; TRY BOTH ![]()
