18 pounds a plant with the right growing conditions

Welcom to hc...do a search through people's grow journals to find out they have grown...it all depends upon how much money you want to spend on seeds, what type of high you want to pick a strain...

you can expect 1.5-2z per plant grown under good conditions indoors...outdoors whole bunches of pot....

Personally I think I would rather buy seeds, for the simple fact. If you do get it right on the first try you will be alot happier. What's a 20 to 40 dollar investment. If your growing you most likely invested in lights, no diffence with seeds. They are an investment. If your worried about price, Try C-bay, lots of strains.

Hmmmm? What do you think?

Supreme Skunk:Mostly Indica. This F-1 hybrid is a cross between Skunk #1 and the world famous Northern Lights #5. For sheer yield and hybrid vigour, this is one of the best. Huge buds, excellent resin, taste and high. Supreme Skunk is an extremely reliable indoor variety that works especially well in small grow chambers or sea of green. Combines the distinctive qualities of NL #5 and the unique pungency of Skunk #1 together in a vigorous even blend. F-1 hybrid. Height 4 to 5 feet. Flowering time 45 to 55 days. Yield up to 175 grams.

Five O:Mostly Indica. This F-1 hybrid between the resin champ Northern Lights #5 and our wonderful Hawaiian Indica has made many indoor growers very happy. The plants are medium height, extremely vigorous and high yielding. A very easy to grow variety with superior indoor performance and top commercial possibilites, Grown by many commercial growers in B.C. and abroad. Lovely tropical scent and really nice buzz. Height 4 to 5 feet. Flowering time 55 to 60 days. Yield up to 175 grams.

personally , for a beginner, I'd go with a Green Spirit(which is BB and S1 hybrid) or a Big Bud strain or even a skunk strain (like Super Skunk).

my $.02
