![]() | which of these is bad to use with germination of seeds; Bleach,or Peroxide? i know rooting solution is meant for that purpose... Also i tried a new method for germinating and will find out how it goes in a few days. I used this sort of Foamy sponge, thats like 3"x3"x4" so cut several evenly spaced out 1\2" slits. and placed about 8 seeds per slot, which is aroun 55 seeds. i used a mild rooting solution in cool, boiled water. Half the cube sits in this solution, in a small air tight container with a small hole in the center of the lid, the container sits in one of my water beds' open drawer, for ventilation, warmth, and moisture. Also after i inserted the cube and solution, i then added a very small amount of Bleach. it made it mousse up a little bit. i then put in drawer and i check on it to make sure solution dont get so low that the top of the cube dries. Geez this is a fairly long one. [i didnt use Peroxide] could i? Please, if you can answer my question and comment on my first attempt with this method that i thaught out, please do so thank you! Smoke you later! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Never use bleach, it is toxic to every living thing on the planet. Also, you don't need to use a rooting solution when germinating, since it provides Auxin that the seed doesn't need. It certainly won't hurt, but isn't necessary. Peroxide can be used to provide oxygen, but again, if the seed can get oxygen from the air, or what is dissolved in water. The seed needss so little at first, besides water, that adding things for germination is not necessary. Again, don't use bleach!!! ![]()

![]() | AAAAhhahahahahaaa****. I killed everything.. even my medium soft foam\sponge. freggin bleach deteriorated everything. DO NOT USE BLEACH FOR SEED GERMINATION!!! instead dip seed in hydrogen peroxide to sterilize seed and to shield it from fungus. an expert told me this. so it has to work. man i wasted over 30 very nice textured primo bag seed with this stupid bleach.

Hey guys, Peace and joy to you all! I'm wondering why you're even contemplating such "complicated" seed germination strategies. Here's a tried and tested way to germinate seeds with a (95%-100% success rate! (With as many as 20 different strains from all over the world.) Go to Walmart and purchase a bag of Continuous Feed potting soil. Use the Walmart brand and it costs you $2.50 for a 3.5 gallon bag of soil. Take 6oz foam cups and poke a pencil tip through the bottom. Fill the cup 3/4 full of soil and water thoroughly until soil is thoroughly wet and water comes out the drain hole .(you could use a b1 solution but it's not necessary) Then poke a 1' hole in the soil and put the seed in. Cover it up and put the cup in a place w/o extreme temperatures. Warmer is better. That's it folks! Within a week, I usually experience 100% germination with everything from Kali Mist to Northern Lights! Oh yeah, Walmart soil miraculously works great as a cloning medium and I achieve 90%-95% success using it. Oh, and for growing a plant to flowering I've found none better! And it's reusable up to 3 crops (I've gotten great results by leaching the soil between each crop and oila!) It holds water and fertilizer better than anything I've used and it's inexpensive and readilly available at any Walmart! If you're an organic grower you've got to try it and you'll never be sorry! Trust a long time grower, Live free or die...and Be Happy!

![]() | I dunno what all the fuss is about ..paper towels, seeds and water is all I ever use ..works great. 1. put 3 paper towels on plate 2. place seeds on paper towels 3. cover seeds with one more paper towel. 4. spray with warm water 5. cover with another plate making a dome kinda shape ..thats it condensation keeps them wet check every 2 days
