Great report alteredego!

This might be my next addition to the garden.

Nice report. Some serious sugar bands on the sweat leaves (?).

I know it's only a smoke report, but how was the smell during flower (late), and what did it smell like?

For what it's worth the Mrs. here would love to smell something other than pine, if that is possible, and Papaya seems pretty nice.

In late flowering the smell got much stronger but I would still only rate it around 5ish on the odor scale. The smell was of a natural tropical/fruity scent... with a hint of the weed smell.
I've never eaten or smelled a real papaya or mango, but I'm sure the aroma of the weed is somewhere close to the smell of the actual fruit.

yeah, the papaya is practically odourless, at least in mj smell. smells like a sorta tropical greenhouse late in flowering

it stays supercompact , with nodes as close or closer than 1cm.

responded well to lst.

heavy stone, is more uplifting tho, when picked early.

i have basically the same report on it, very easy to grow.

Thanks alteredego! That all sounds very desireable around this house. I also like the mold/disease resistance. Nice finisher too.

alteredego, how much yield are you getting per plant on the papaya
?
i got 5-10 gram (staggered harvest, didnt weigh)
but i was using 2l pots (2/3 gallon) and didnt get half my lights till late flowering, (150w on 4 plants initially)

and similar harvest on the early bud im growing, hehe actually when i think about it, its pretty good yield considering the lowlevel lights and small potsize, so id be interested in the numbers from a succesful grow.

oh yeah, have you tried the males?

they must be excellent males, for many ppl say, throw them away, others say make cannabudder or oil.

never tried any other males, but these are good enough to smoke.

i even harvest them in stages, let them grow a lil more so i can get more smokes

i dried some in the oven just now, mixed with a lil tobacco and im floating nicely

one male has sorta chococoffee( not bitter, more earthy, tropically) smell, the other has some fruity smell.

the chococoffee one is a bit stonier, the fruity is more cerebral.

of coz its not as good as the females, but it isnt that far off, but even if you have plenty of smokes, i would definetly make some cannabudder with these.

made some the other day

it was a very good birthday

The first grow I did with Papaya was in a scrog, and from that one plant I pulled around 35 grams. Otherwise on average I get about an ounce per plant under a 400w hps, in 8" or 10" pots.

beginning to be hard to write and tingly numb

and i was worried i was completely out of smokes
