Greetings all,

The third and final strain in my low yielding (yet somehow still strangely satisfying) 2nd grow was a mostly indica award-winning strain known as God Bud (aka Fucking Incredible?).

1) Strain: God Bud

2) Breeder: BC Depot

3) Indica/Sativa: 75/25 (but I think its more like 90/10)

4) Grown Indoors/Outdoors (If grown Indoors list Type of Light and Wattage): Indoors, Veg: 2xT5s, Flower: 400W HPS (cool tubed)

5) Days flowered and trichomes color(s): 70 days, mostly cloudy/amber, 80/20, turned a gorgeous purple in the last 4 weeks

6) Medium used: Canna Coco

7) Nutrients: Optimum Coco 2 part (not recommended): I believe that the manufacturer states too high a dosage which resulted in my plants suffering from "lockout" so that they were never able to develop as they should have. I must take an equal blame because I was trying too many new variables at the same time. Never a good idea. While the cola length was okay (about 8-10cm) it wasn't very dense.

However, I still have some of the seeds and I am looking forward to trying it again.

8) Curing method and time: glass jar, 3 weeks (and counting). I was only able to dry this for about 6 days, which was too short. It is very moist and resinous. Itr would have been better for me to dry it for 10 days (of course YMMV)

9) Type of high - Up/Down: Much more down than up, but see (11) below

10) Potency: motherfrakin fer sure it is, eh? Like a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce. Be very respectful

11) Brief description of taste/effects: Amazing smelling bud. Very powerful aroma (don't open in public places) with spearmint, and an almost terroir sort of healthy earthy sense to it.

The best way for me to describe the high is to compare it to another strongly indica strain, White Widow (which I know pretty well). For me, God Bud is like WW done right. My only real objection to WW is I find that in addition to being couch-locked, my brain seems to go a bit soft and mushy, there is a mental state of heaviness that goes with the sensations in my body. With the God Bud, while there is no question that I was couch locked, and seriously so for a good 30 mins (kids do not try this before you have to do anything important, like standing up, or tying your shoes), the head space is still pretty trippy and light. I was smiling talking and having a very good time, but there was no way I was going anywhere. Very nice

12) Medicinal uses: I don't know, but your body does get way relaxed.

I am really looking forward to my next grow of GB. I will want to make sure too breed of few of the plants to get more seeds of this amazing plant.

UPDATE: 26/02/09

So, I had stored the GB in a mason jar for about a month, vacum sealed. Last night a friend came by who knows his weed and I decided it was time to try a pinch more. I clipped a bit off the top which was so gummy I could have probably rolled it into a ball and called it hash. Amazing fruity smell.

If anything, the smoke was better now then when I gave my report above. Intense body high with a wonderful clarity of mind. Really quite incredible.

I am so happy I still have 6 beans of this stuff left. This could easily become my fav.
