Milk Update
permalink

Well, 'milk' at a 10 - 25% concentration to water seems to be the correct formula. However, as I had a warm night last night I can say, USE SKIM MILK! I used volle or full fat milk..... Not well thought out on my part... But it did take care of a large amount of the powdery mildew!

Oh gosh sorry i meant to get back to you but forgot.
Yes that is a good idea to use that but it will smell pretty funky for a while
Chocolope would be ideal for a window plant as it does not need such high intensity to grow well. Make sure there is adequate ventilation. Usually powdery mildew is related to not enough air circulation so you might want to check into that. I will take some pics of my chocolope plants that i currently have growing on my deck outside to show you what mine presently look like.
You are going to be pleasantly surprised by the taste and high of this one.
I STILL love it and have some more seeds to plant soon, possibly today.
Thanks for the response Toobocu and I look forward to any updates you have.
Thanks also email my friend
Mine are about 3 weeks into flowering.

Thanks! It looks great. I assume you're giving them morning sun/afternoon shade?

The milk is working very well, the powdery mildew is almost completely gone. The humidity in the Netherlands right now is about 65%. These plants are on my open windowsill all day and then in front of cracked open windows at night. Would it be worthwhile to introduce a dehumidifier or should I just stick to milk?

I tried to upload some pictures, but it keeps telling me they are too big...

Those are GORGEOUS girls. Nicely done. In fact i am most impressed.
Last night I planted 4 more seeds since my outdooors plants are the only ones I have going at the moment.

I WOULD definitely would add a dehumidifier. GOOD idea.
You have plenty of air circulation or should be the looks of the pics.
Its no wonder they are doing so well.
These girls love the humidity and moisture but too muich can have bad results overall.
Yes mine is from a small clone and is now out on my deck in sun from 1st thing in the morning and then filtered sun for a few hours in the afternoon to full shade for the rest of the day
Nice work. They must LOVE that window.

Thank you very much for the compliment! I must say, since they sit in the windows, they don't grow....even. So all the grow is to the front and sides, but they are quite robust.

Here are some pictures from today. And some of the buds.

They are very robust ESPECIALLY for just growing in a window, but look at the window.......
very cool buddy.

I'm sure you do this already but try rotating the pots around so they get sun evenly distributed all around them. This will help with the powdery mildew issue also .
Direct sunlight is the very best thing to clear that up and between the milk, the de-humidifier and rotating your plants.....you should be good 'til harvest time.

Beautiful example of chocolpe and I thank you KINDLY for displaying it for others to see. I know of many who have ordered these seeds so it is nice to see others doing it as or even more successfully than me.

Good job
