![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I keep quite a paper trail of my grows in the hopes of someday being able to possibly become a breeder for my own strains.. If (OMG) I was to become good enough to think about sharing (or selling) clones would just be the added bonus. I definitly enjoy the benefits of the medicine i'm getting from my "low" cost grow op especially being on the fixed income and no longer is there the need to save back (oh God) precious $$ to goto my local guy pawning off his/her junk IMO (we all grow so much better than whats offered on most streets if not all) again IMO So, back to the paper trail .. journals on hard copy (paper) + digital journal (Open Office doc) + email myself copies every morning of day before' journal additions (in case of lose os pc at home) + the end of the year DVD including photo's of all important stages of a poor little clones life span (abused so nicely). Every detail of the grow op is journaled (lot of work I hope someday (it does every end of year when I go back and re read the years grow) looking back on it all i'll know exactly which strain which clone came from such as my Trainwreck originally from seed from a friend who grows medical oops hermied and I got a seed in 2006. From that seed i've cloned my way to the seeds I have now growing in a new journal I always say it but, i'm hoping these are f1 hybrid of Trainwreck x KGB x AK47 - plz plz plz plz ditto ditto Sorry for the length of this ramble I got carried away, its time now for me to go tend to my farm Peace and have a Great day stay cool if your somewhere hot. don

I so wanted to comment on this yesterday but was too busy.So I suppose this is your classic....'Don't bogard that joint my friend? ![]() You know it cracks m up how quiet men normally are until you get a group joint in their rhand. Man-n -n........then they can rambleI have a friend that I have known since I was a kid. We used to do a lot of biking together. Well a few weeks ago he came up to visit . Do any of you remember when you first started toking and you thought if you held the smoke in as long as you can you'd get off way more so you plugged your nose and held in the smoke until your face turned red After a while because you can't breath you start making these snorting noises. I know we all didn't do that but this guy STILL DOES!!! We are sitting discreetly on our back deck having a puff chatting away and all of a sudden you look at this guy and his face is red turning purple , his eyes are al bug eyed and there are disgusting noises coming from him![]() I'd really like to sit there and at him but he is a family friend from way back.Ok I am in my forties here and I didn't think we did stuff like this any more ![]() Now every once in a while while i am sitting alone outside having a puff, hubby will sneak up on me and start making these gawd awful piggie noises and I crack up every single time. Its like a standard joke in our house and your story kinda reminded me of it.Pesci.........:........yes i suppose I 'could' be a salesperson So just for the record how much percentage are we talkin' here ![]() I;ll have my people talk with your people ![]() ![]() Lou....I thought you'd like to know that I have experiented on harvesting times and i tend to agree with the guy who wrote the article for high times , in that this strain is great at an earlier flowering time . For me i found the best harvesting was between 8 1/2 to 9 weeks Not too shabby huh? Email....thanks for adding some pics to this thread topic. Yes you certainly have the weaker one growing but as you say, it's smell and buzz are not lacking in the least. This strain starts to smell awesome before you even see any noticeable trichs on her. She clones very well and is a fast hardy grower. I felt bad once i noticed your pics because then i knew it wasn't just a dud seed. Yesterday i went ut and took some pics of how this one grows outdoors and you will get an indication on just how sensitive she is to light from the sun. For some reason she does not like intense light so if you end up with this genotype then you may want to keep her back a bit from the lights until you see how she handles it. i'm disappointed about this but also glad that it is something we figured out before others start germinating them. I can't find all my pics from this grow yet as i am still downloading stuff on this new computer but I will add some more pics later Allglad.....no this strain is easy as pie to grow in soil. iIts one of the easiest strains to grow INDOORS. You can try this girl outdoors but I strongly don't suggest it. please note the pics. Experimenting with her is a great idea. I talked with bcseedking and i know that they want to do too Diamond dave.......Well I purchased these seeds at attitude seed bank last january when they had a sale on them. I got 6 seeds and germinated 5 of them. FOUR out of five of the seeds were AWESOME!!! totally rockin' stuff...... ![]() If my math is correct thats 80% chance of getting the better genotype ![]() Lord Bobby......You're gonna LOVE it ![]() Camper again.....I totally agree with you/ I've been fairly spoiled in the weed department in that i have had a friend who has supplied me for most of my life. Most of my supply was good grade indica and i didn't pay a LOT for it BUT I most certainly HAVE to agree that growing my own stuff has paid off bigtime. The money i used to put away on my toking enjoyment was a LOT. Most weed i had no idea what the strain was or where it came from. At times it was still wet or dried right out and /or harsh BUT the WORST of it all is the running around one has to do. Don't you guys just hate that? Its a total drag when you spend a majority of your day getting hooked up only to be hugely disappointed at the end of the day or twp friggin' days later you finally get your stuff and it is crap ![]() GONE GONE GONE are those days and now I get to order exactly what i like. The difference is like counting on a buddy to pick you up some food and he comes back with some cheap junk food when you're really in the mood for gourmet style dining ![]() ramble ramble away...... I don't mind at all ![]() I'm not sure how old you all are but I am in my forties. Back in the early 80's there used to be some stuff around called Thai Stick. It was about $15 a stick. Back then this was the very best stuff i had tried and i never for the life of me thought I would get a glimpse back to those good ole' days BUT this is it. Its not exactly the same in that there is a cannalope strain bred into her. Now i am a serious stoner so the regular street stuff out there does NOTHING to me but waste my money and choke me up THIS is why i grow. If i can be selective I WILL be Some people might refer to this as being a strain snob but in my opinion....... Is this such a bad thing? ![]() Now I will TRY and get some pics on here PLEASE note the difference between growing this strain indoors and outdoors I'm having a difficult time with these pictures so will have to get some help and try again later. Sorry people ![]() Last edited by Lacy; 07-29-2009 at 06:07 AM..

100%Thanks for the ramblin Lacy...your post just brought back so many memories....(I will be 50 next year so all your comments/insights flooded back the good memories) Back in the Day, the smoke was so awesome...I had Thai Stick in the late 70's and early 80's...it was the coolest shit...a 6 to 8" bamboo stick with the bud wrapped around the stick with some form of twine....awesome. I alos remember that where I lived, (near Peterborough), there was a continuous flow of terrific variety....Panama red, (real red color to the buds, wicked bag appeal), Columbian Gold, and even the original Mexican was pretty good until the Paraquat scare. Also had great variety with honey oil, red hash oil, cherry oil, black hash, blonde hash and on and on....that variety just does not exist today does it....UNLESS WE MAKE OUR OWN ![]() And of course the price could not be beat....50$ for a full 4 finger ounce. I mean we had dope coming from all 4 corners of the world...truly a good thing. Precisely the reasons I got into outdoor growing about 9 or 10 years ago,(too paranoid to grow indoors because if ever caught you are done for, outdoors I can deny ownership at least). The side benefits of knowing what we smoke, saving $, and no running around for supply in addition to the enjoyment we gain growing make it all so worthwile. Take it easy and thanks ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning, I'm so glad all of you got a good chuckle out of my post above I hope to bring some laughter to some on some days ![]() This past May 3rd, I turned 55 Woooooooo Hooooooooo but, I don't admit to much more than 25 or 30 and can get away with it due to this stupid "baby face" I have that helps keep my age a secret with the exception of my long "white" (wizard like) (hippy'ish) hair. I remember back in the 80's when I lived in Northern Cali and had a dealer I dealt with on a regular basis back in my working days that I saw often and every once in awhile he'd throw in a couple of sticks of Thai ... Yes those long (upto 12") bamboo sticks with bud attached to it with either hemp string or the like as freebies cause I spent so much of my hard earned $$ back then.. What a nice treat they were.. I was so surprised when he gave them two me that I shared and give a stick to a friend (at the time) who I partied with all the time. funny how wordings change: back then I "partied" today, I "medicate" to ease the pains of the things I did when I was young and stupid, bounced way better and the healing time was much shorter.Ahhh the good ol' dayz so many memories, so much has changed, so many things i've seen happen throughout the years it amazes me.. Back in the days of black & white Tvs, the Ed Sullivan Show, not one single computer in any ones home, fast food used to be eaten with a tray hung from your car window in a parking lot with girl on skates, today fast food is eatin on the way to somewhere your probably late getting too.. we're all in too much of a hurry, we need to stop and smell the roses once in awhile. Take a breath, breath in the aroma of life, sit and take a break Have a Great day don

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i germinated only one of the six seeds ... and as luck would have it ... i got this one.. but she is getting buds and frosting up nicely ... and there is NO difference in the smell between this plant and the other phenotype. here she is at 81 days old and in 12/12 for 32 days .... i'll start putting something beside her for size reference ... but for now i can tell you she is in a 12" pot...
