![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I smoked some fine colombian gold once. I was not aware of what I was smoking and had a full blown panic attack. Maybe if I knew I was smoking a very strong sativa I would have been more respectful. But I was just taking rip after rip. LOLOLOL I don't mind smoking a sativa once in awhile to break up the routine but I don't just roll up a blunt and watch it get to the end like I would a indica.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning, I'm a firm believer of "Variety being the spice of life" although having to deal with all the different strains and learning all the different likes and dislikes of each strain could become tedious. I used to hate only getting one kind of smoke and after a short time it seemed that one variety just wouldn't get me as buzzed as at first high .. To the point I couldn't wait for a friend to stop by with "anything" different. So now I grow a variety of different strains as I recieve them (always accepting clones or seeds that drop out of someones bagseed (usually know what it is) so i'm never smoking the same thing for too long into a month. When I flower, i'm flowering two or three different strains at a time with no more than three in flower cab at once. Right now the cab has (1) Bubblegum and (2) AK47 At the moment i've got (6) different strains growing out in my under desk grow area with hopefully (5) more diff strains coming (fingers are still crossed) Variety "is" the spice of life - enjoy Have a Great day don

well after all the sativa talk i have been wanting a good sativa that gives energy but not enough to the point i have a panic attack or anxiety. i already struggle with anxiety a little but i still want to get something i can smoke during the day and not feel somewhat foggy for the rest of the day. does chocolope fit this bill or are there any other suggestions.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | thanks again email Not one of them did good outdoors so far so lesson learned. ![]() Hi blank motif and bryansm....yes I can relate to first smoking good sativa. it can be extremely tripping and cause paranoia and panic attacks BUT there are some sativas that do not do this and have a calming effect . They are actually good for ptsd and general anxiety. Jack herer is one of them.....it is great for fibromyalgia and helps keep one active It is clear headed type of high with no edginess to it Another good one is strawberry cough and orange bud both from dutch passion The strawberry cough especially is a nice sativa buzz that has a mellowing effect i don't find any trippiness with it at all Camper.....yes variety is the spice of life for sure ![]() ![]() This is why i decided to go all kinds of different strains like you to find out exactly what i liked and what i don't. i have tried the bubblegum but haven't tried the AK47 but have read a lot of good things about it. What do you think of it.? The bubblegum is much the same as the juicy fruit. I love the buzz but i sometimes find the flavour a bit too sweet Bryansm.....I suffer from anxiety and pstd and find that many sativas are helpful Its a wives tale that all sativas are trippy They just aren't. i have found a good many sativas to be quite calming and yet keep the energy level up thanks diamond dave and everyone else ![]() later

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good afternoon, Well Lacy, this AK47 that I have in my last harvest I wrote (with pictures) to Lou Cypher in his thread "Cloning Made Easy: a Pictorial Guide" ( a little plug for em) that the colors of her throughout most of the flowering session were of the darkest autumm like colors i'd ever seen and wondered what was wrong nute wise... The colors were very dark reds to dark maroon .. this scared me as I had no idea what was happening to her and ...Lou wrote back assuring me that all was good and that the colors she was displaying was normal for that particular strain. He added that it looked like an older 1970's strain of AK47 from those colors and that I should thank the person I recieved the clone from. Wow, I asked how would this strain still be alive today and how I was so fortunate to have been given one? I forget what he said for this part. As for the taste / high it was ... let me see if I can describe the high here .. OMG !!!! I felt it was definitely a "go to bed medicine" this was truely that "1 hit shit" i'd been looking for. Literally, all I had to do was load a bowl, hold it between my fingers and thought I was getting high from just holding it never mind smoking it. I could smoke a hit or two and totally be ready for bed. This was good. And when I got to bed np falling asleep and staying asleep. Had a really nice kind of spicy flavor to it different from the skunky or fruity taste I usually get. Bare in mind that this particular flower session had gone to seed (the three diff females that hermied from light leaks) and was allowed to mature their seeds for my stocking purposes so much if not all the energy to produce kicken smoke, I mean medicine went to produce viable seeds. The end result is less potent smokables then if not having been pollinated. IMO But still, this stuff rocked my world and tilted it ! I'm definitely flowering more two are in right now with 4 - 6 weeks to go, next feeding is Monday which begins first feeding using Fox Farms Cha-Ching to help fatten up these beautifully legged Ladies under the HOT5. So far, they're still growin green Have a Great evening wherever u r don

That was almost a strain review in itself ![]() Yes I am familiar with Lous clones tutorial It is really very good Does AK47 has afgani in her? That might explain the reddish purple colour at the end of harvesting. Mango does the same thing as do others with afgani in them. Afgani mixes are very potent strains indeed. They are labelled as indicas but they are almost a class of their own. The BCmango I had was very potent and finshed off the same way. It was beautiful while finishing. She almost looked too nice to cut down but of course my greed cut in as the aroma was just as pleasant or more soIt sounds like a interesting strain camper. An indica i am interested in is L.A. Confidential and Jilly Bean. At the present time I am vegging some bcmango, bc purps and nl x skunk I'm going to finish off my present journal and perhaps start a new journal. i looked thorugh to see if you had one but you don't seem to Anyway have a good night also whereever you are. p.s ...i'll have to go to Lou clones thread and check it out [ /I]

The strain originates from thai...or at least half the genetics do ![]() I wonder where cannalope is originally from. It is most interesting because that is something I have pondered over the last week or two. Like what gives with this one. It was most disappointing as i had high hopes for flowering her outdoors BUT I bet there are enough experienced breeders out there that someone will take the genotypes needed from her and perhaps breed her to make her stronger and or better. Ummmm....imagine better ![]()
