![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | [IStrain: NYC Diesel Seedbank: Soma Genetics:: Mexican sativa and afganii 40% indica/60% sativa Grown in:: organic soil mix of Promix and dolomite, bonemeal, coco fiber, bat guana, worm compost, sea compost, micro-organisms, aquarium water and other organic materials Grow type: Regular Nutrients: Occassionally would add Carbo logic in flowering stage and seaweed concentrate and vitamin B1 for the clones after 2 weeks to help with root growth Grown from:: seed to clone Veg time: 6 weeks Flowering time:: 9 to 12 weeks ……I flowered for 11 weeks Height:; about 4 feet Characteristics:; dark green foliage, exceptionally strong grower, clones incredibly well (almost difficult to kill the clones) An exceptionally hardy grower throughout all stages Smell: smells like fresh red grapefruit. A very clean smell. Exotic Taste: grapefruit fruity taste with a hint of sourness to it Very smooth and clean flavour Yield:: 25 grams per plant at least….is definitely a good yielder Awards: High Times Cannabis cup Award for 2001, 2003, and 2004 for BEST sativa Smoke Report:: smooth fruity flavour of red grapefruit with a hint of sour to it A most exquisite taste. Defintely for strain snobs. You won’t be disappointed Personal opinion: I’m not the least bit disappointed with this strain for it delivers as promised. It was an easy grower that was very hardy and insect resistant. It’s leaves are a very rich dark healthy green colour to them. The structure of this sativa is perfect. She is tall and holds her stuff well. Her flowers are beautiful to watch change throughout the cycle and during the last week or so the leaves put on a stunning display with hues and overtones of other colours which Soma strains are famous for. She holds her pigmentation very well and her leaves rarely fade . The stems grow strong enough to hold her large sized flowers but at times I did need to stake some of them. She truly is a delight to grow and clones fairly well. She is an extremely stable grower and I had no problems with her at all. I’ve even placed some outdoors this year off in the country somewhere and would love to compare notes at the end of the year. One of my favorite strains for growing. The buds have an airy quality to them and dry extremely well. This strain has less chance of becoming moldly than most because of this airiness. The buds are lighter in colour than most strains and can be instantly recongnized once seen. The buds have more orangish pistals than most strains which adds to this airiness quality. It certainly has EYE and SMELL APPEAL Excellent strain and highly recommended but i also found this link so there IS better. Do not confuse this strain with sour diesel or any other diesel ][/i] The Diesel Breakdown | Cannabis Culture Magazine | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is this the same as ECSD? If so, I have some seeds I got from a bag. I've never tried germinating and growing from seed, maybe next run.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Your making me figure my timing 7/12 ....I was 3 weeks into Veg growth....I went about 1 more week of veg then I cut the lights on 7/21.... 10 days of July and then 31 more days in Aug .......41 days.... almost 6 weeks of 12/12. But the way I calculate I take off the first 10 days or so...... that I consider a transfer period.....so 31 days
