![]() | [color=chocolate] OK, here goes. I have a plant in 12/12 I think it is a bubble gum or a Hawaiian skunk?? Anyway it is doing really nice and about 28" tall. Color is fine leaves are all healthy except the bottom or the bottom and that's normal. The question is this, I bought a PH tester today and the soil reads out at 7.0 and I have been reading some of the posts and it seems that alot of people are trying to lower theirs if its in that range?? Now, seeing the plant is doing great should I mess with the PH or just leave it alone at (7) being that it is really doing fine?? Shown all it's glory already and the flowers are starting to form already too. It's been in the 12/12 only for 10 days!!! I'm surprised to see those two tiny white hairs poking out so fast!! It was like the 4th day of 12/12 and they were showing. Last plant took like 10-12 days just to see those female glands. My other one showed "his" balls at 30" and I got rid of that quick. Anyway, just curious as to some advise on the PH and should I act or just let it be? Thanks all, HarleyRider Vrooooooooooom......

My advice would be to leaveit be for now,its doin fine, why fix something that aint broken huh? ![]() Harley, you havent mentioned what ferts you are using,so i will add anyway, that soon you will want to boost the Phosphorous, and this can cause a drop in Ph.,so,It's something to keep in mind. ![]() ChEeRs V34

![]() | Kind of was swaying that way as it is doing great and like you said, "why fix something if it's not broke"!! And it's not broke. And didn't know that the nutes to boost the bloom would bring it down some. I am going to be using the nutes for my next watering so things might just work their way out by themselves. I was using Shultz's 20-20-20 for the vegging and not much of that as I had a nute burn problem with my last grow so I learned my lesson as less is best cause you can always add more if you need it but it's hard to take away if too much. As for the bloom boost I am using Peter's as it has the micro nutes in it too. I think that's 10-60-10. I used that when I first put it in the 12/12 but only a 1/4 of what it's was supposed to be. I will increase that dose up to 1/2 of the recommended dose next watering which will be soon. Tanx!! HarleyRider Vroooooooom................. Here is a pic of the plant.Last edited by Lizzie Borden; 02-27-2003 at 11:21 PM..
