Preferted Soil ?
permalink

I didn't know where to post this so if it doesn't fit here pls move.
Maybe I'm missing something but I would like to know how many seasoned growers would recommend using prefertilized soil? Pros & Cons welcome.

I don't use manufactured pre-ferted soil, but I mix my own.
I kind of like recommending it to those new to growing, because then they can skip over feeding until they get into flowering, and it helps get them by that urge to feed new babies every day
If I mix my stuff just right, I can get all the way through a winter* grow without having to do supplementary feeding at all. What a luxury! What good tasting weed!

*doesn't work for me in the summer because of rainfall- I got 19 inches in June, and 11 already this month. All soil nutes are halfway to China by now.

I use them on my indoor seedlings...when i move them outside i normally give them a little bit extra every couple weeks....that way i don't over do it...

Pro's: Don't have to fert all the time (should last through veg stage)

Con's: Don't know when it will run out....sure it says 3 months or so on the bag, but who reallly knows?

Peacefully ,

Guerilla
