| So if they recommend bananas to ripen plantains, then plantains must not ripen plantains as well as bananas ripen plantains, then I would think bananas better source of ethylenes (sp?) ( Who's on first?) What sparked my attention was " hasten ripening?" Bananas at flower time?

| So sorry darlin' - I wish you'd seen it too! I'm self-promoting my idea a lot as it is ... Like I said - it's a religion because I believe it works, but I don't have any scientific facts to back it up. I'm not going to be able to do the experiment for awhile because I want males to make F2's of the strains I have on my list. So I turned to the community and we'll see what happens.

| I've only tried this once with a Hindu Kush seedling. It did turn out female. 1 for 1 so far. I have 7 seedlings at 1 week old and they will get the treatment too. I'll post the outcome here. | ||
