I had 3 satori, 2 masterkush and 1 Thai Haze x Skunk; 6 plants in all. I had 8 bananas (replaced twice) set right on top of the the soil from day 21 until I switched to flower 2 weeks later. I got 4/6 female. 2 satori and both MK now flowering nicely! | ||

| ARRRRGHH! screw this banana religion!  last time i tried it i got 4 males and 1 female, now ive got 2 females and 3 males! i thought 1 might be female, but a light fell on it, almost killed it, i cut the top off and put into cloning, but now i notice belatedly that it has horns, always a sign of males in my strains  so i smoked it i think the bananas are making my plants think there are tons of females allready in the neighboorhood and so they become males  least my males all are fine smokes and i got no smokes. adios everybody. | ||

| My latest, 2 Texada Timewarp, bananas from day 1, 1/2 female. I have to say it's been inconclusive, at best, haven't really seen much effect that couldn't be attributed to chance. Someone needs to do 100 plants with and without from the same seed plant. I nominate-Someone Else.

| how bout u give me the 100 seeds , im growing 8 plants and the biggest one which has had a banana next to it its whole life is starting to show that it is female.ill report the rest in 2 weeks or so.

| the one i thought was a female..? hahahaha 99% sure its a male. no more bananas for me never had this problem till i tried bananas sheesh i havent had a smoke of my own, except males, since christmas! well i at least have some clones coming into their own, but they havent even started to flower yet, so maybe at the end of summer? awwww, this is going to be a lousy summer... | ||
