And you just answered my next question.
I love doing the all natural organic gardening more than anything but cannot use the same things inside as I would out otherwise you end up with all kinds of pests.

I even would prefer all natural soil in my growing pots outside but because they are so close to the house and become so HEAVY I use potting soil mix but I ahev to say that I have never heard anything like this before. Even the mere suggestion of tips to get a better feamle to male ratio usually get laughed at

ok all 4, males

bananas, from green to riper than ripe.

btw about blue light.

i use only 2700k to 3000k lights, before i tried bananas i had 4 to 1 female ratio or better.

both times ive used bananas, nr1 4-1 males, nr2 all males.

well, i guess chasing myths is fun huh? but i still aint got no smokes for at least a month (thank gods for that clone i had)

I did a little research. And if ethylene really is the "active ingredient", APPLES are the way to go

Bananas got a ethylene production rating of 'medium', apples got a 'very high'

Check it out...

Mrs, Blue, the fruit salad in the grow room worked well for me, with better % than sulfuric acid.
Out of 40 seedlings that I introduced the bananas & apples, 29 are females.

What I learn from the experience though is, that in the first couple weeks one uses fruits, have to control ventilation a little better.

And what I mean by that is, if you're constantly exchanging air in the GR, ethylene gas has no time to be absorbed by the plants.

Also after I spoke to couple of breeders that use fruits for the production of ethylene gas, they all agreed that the amount of fruits is important too.

After a long debate of info, all of us agreed that you need at least 2 fruits per cubic ft. of space, in order to see the effects of ethylene.

Most of them also prefer Apples over Bananas cause they take a little longer to get rotten.

Overall, one good find Mrs, Blue Thank you.

You might? You should.

It does increase the % for females.
Don't let them get too rotten, or you'll get bugs.
The peal is brown, time for a fresh

Good Luck, hope you get a lots of girls.
