You have got to be kidding me. How much does that thing cost, and will it save money compared to growing out a few plants for ~6 weeks, some of which might OMG actually turn out to be males?  If you want guaranteed females, may I suggest cloning?  penguin | ||

But when I put down 100 plants from seed and I need the most in female %'s to establish a mother, yes it will worth it's money. I'm not a young man, I'll like to see my strain in my life time,  and if that little machine can help me speed up things a bit more, yup I do not mind to spend this amount of $$$ to do it.Not for the average home grower though.

| yeah I only see a minute amount of growers investing in something like that piece of equipment. What I would like to see though, is an ethylene puck. Anyone see the CO2 pucks? | but if you influence it like that, 700 plants, how do you know, you wont end up with plants that only turn female under rather specific conditions? wouldnt the best mother be one that turned female, no matter what? if you are gonna sell seeds from them, wouldnt you want to have the conditions "normal", no extra influences. although those extra influences, could be considered like the effect of an excellent summer. but do you get better plants, through a "always perfect" life, or a life with some adversity? just a thought. | ||
