This question has been asked and answered a million times on this site.

Use an 8 week flowering strain as an example. With SOG - no veg time (ok - a few days to recover from the transplant) you can basically produce a crop every 8.5 weeks or 6.12 crops in 52 weeks.

Saying you veg for 4 weeks after recovery, you can produce a crop every 12.5 weeks or 4.16 crops in 52 weeks.

SOG has less yield per plant but more harvests per year, so if you're doing a perpetual harvest SOG is more productive. Just one harvest? I'd go with a longer veg time and fewer plants.
