Well, you do not HAVE to, it will just be a little more harsh, but it will still be way better than chemical.

Organics always works better, I mean, we are working with an organic plant, so we might aswell feed it organic nutes. I would like to save my fan leaves too for use as compost, feeding marijuana marijuana, meaning 100% Cannabis would be possible!

Hey there sorry my pictures are apparently hiding very well. I will continue to look for them. I hung 600w hps bulbs from the ceiling so they hung next to the plant. This worked well. I did take the plant down to flush at the end. The flowers tasted and worked exactly the same as growing there right side up but I did get a little more out of her yeild wise because the light was on both sides of the plant. Good Luck!

Hey 420 could you do us a favor and google organic and get a definition, please. I am so sick of this debate it's so old. Organic as easy as I can put it contains carbon. period.

420--Damn dude I see you promoting organic all over the place. Have you ever grown organic weed next to chemical weed to taste the difference?? Yes it does taste better, but you pretty much have to know how great chemical weed tastes to be able to compare it. I don't know anybody that can tell my organic weed from my chemical weed, but this cat. You keep cutting on chemical growers, and this chemical grower will put up my chemical weed against most organic growers any day of the week. You are becoming a little pushy on promoting the organic, and I doubt you have that experience behind you. There are a ton of excellent chemical growers on here, that know how to flush their weed. You must be getting some real crappy chemical weed that you are smoking dude, learn to flush chemical weed and then compare it to the organic. I've had better tasting chemical weed than from some organic growers that don't flush right or whatever they did to their organic weed. And some of your organic comments don't quite add up, and don't add much to the threads, but we sure all know you really like to promote it. Yes we get the point, you like organic weed, congrats to you and hope you have great luck growing it too. It's like you think chemical grown weed is so bad, and that is not even close, it's who's growing it mostly, and once you get things in check, then you become very picky on your growing and smoking, then you will know the true benefits from organic weed. Are you opening up a organic company or something that you want us to all buy into or something with all your organic promoting?? Maybe then I'd understand all your promoting of it. And I'm one that likes growing orgainc weed too, so agree with organic being better. Sorry dude, just seen so many of your posts saying just the exact same thing. 420oz loves the thought of growing and smoking organic weed. Way to grow.

Bonesnoff--Yeah I know about a bunch of different systems like that. I just want to add yield to a room already producing great and my friend has a case of these. I'm cheap, and those things are way over what price this cat would ever pay. Thanks for the idea though.

OSGS--Yeah I like organic weed for sure.

47--Isn't nothing to see yet. IMHO I'll throw up a picture of it at the moment, but still just barely growing. Once it gets going I'll hang it next to the 400MH upside down, so that light should be shining down from the underside of the plant. I had it to close earlier and ended up burning most the leafs off it. It's still getting new growth, but barely. It has picked back up the last couple of days though so I think it made it.

It happens to be FFOF soil with worm casing, jamaican bat guano, and indonesian bat guano. So totally Organic. I don't see how I'd be any different with non-organic stuff at the moment or how being organic would help me. That debate will go on forever, and just want to know if I can grow a plant upside down in this thing. I only put like 3 inches of dirt into it, so I can add it as I feel thru the dirt and know the roots have taken it over and needs more room. Should cut down on the chances of overwatering it too. And it does have some leak holes around it I found out the hard way, but luckily only the cfl light. I'll have to move it over a saucer to water it, but that much soil once it gets big enough, that should only be every 3-4 days. I'm not all that worried about enough lighting or anything yet, and decided not to upgrade to cooltubes before I can make sure it would be worth the effort.
