pyramid pot

ANyone ever try growing pot with a pyramid made of dowel rods or something simaler hanging over them? I've heard many rumors that there are mystical powers in the pyramid, someone should try it, alongside plants that have no pyramid above them as a comparison tool. I don't really get into the expermental stuff like this but i figured someone on here might want to give it a try or may have already tried it.

just think about it, pyramid pot, it'll be the new craze. Everyone will be wantin' pyranugs. People will breed new strains named after the acient pharaoh's. And the whole scientific community will become parapotheads after the acient myth has become scientific law.

Well I was having root rot troubles a few months ago so I got my paranormal thinking cap on and decided to hang a picture of a pentagram over all my plants in my growroom.

Pentagrams are also supposed to have mystical powers. If its something you've printed off you've got to "activate" them first by tracing its outline with your finger. Or better yet draw one yourself

Not sure if it worked or not but I havent had root rot since

I have had good luck playing Metallica's Ride the Lightening throughout the entire flowering phase. I can't believe how much plants respond to music. Then I wondered if I should shut it off during the night hours for them...hmmm

yeah, they did a thing on mythbusters to see if tomato plants would respond to music playing, and the plants that listened to the music were a little bigger and a little better looking then the ones that didn't listen to music. My theory behind that is that sound waves may help nutrients and water flow thru the plants more efficiently, i wonder what would happen if you set your pot on something that had a mild vibration in it.

Music works. But also talked about on MythBusters was the pyramid... it was found not to do anything.

The music thing was discussed on here a few yrs back....AFAICR plants responded well to certain styles of classical music and also Birdsong, but heavy metal proved to have a negative efffect.....
I'll see if I can dig out the thread

yeah but all they did was put a pryamid over a piece of fruit, along with a square and some other shape, all the fruit rotted at the same pace. Not real significant findings, seeing has how fruit rots within days, and it take plants months to grow. Maybee the power of the pyramid works over a longer amount of time. And maybe it only works with living things, not dying things, we won't know unless someone tries it, it wouldnt be that hard, i really wish i had a bigger grow space for experimental stuff, I have a friend that does, maybe ill see if he'll do it.
