![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i glanceced at it looking for stuff that was more easily readble and that i could understand. I did read that part becasue it was some of the little bit of info on vibrations. I'm not a dummy, I have a degree in computer networking, but all those big scitific wwords mean very ittle to me, i can only get an idea of what they are talking about. "ultrasound treatment altered the viscosity of macromolecule solutions in seeds. Near ultrasound (1.4 kHz, 0.095 kdb) was reported to increase metabolism in chrysanthemum roots, characterized by increases in amylase activity, soluble sugar, and protein (Yi et al., 2003 ). The treatment of chrysanthemum callus with 1.4 kHz sound increases indoleacetic acid levels while decreasing abscisic acid levels" I mean i get this to a point, but it doesn't tell me what i need to know, increases in this or decreases of that does't tell me shit becase i am not a botanist. All I need to know is what frequecies of vibrations applied to marijuana and for how long casue bigger, better, more potent buds, if at all. if ya can find me a laymens bone on that, i would appriciate it, wheter it be about tomatos or putuna's wouldn't make a diffrence to me.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | if you were deaf, you´d still be able to hear music, in a sense. you can too, without even attuning yourself for months by being deaf, by just listening to a subwoofer for example, there you can feel the vibrations of the sound. same would be possible and is with the higher frequencies. so plants would "feel" the music, look at creepers and vines, they grow up, swinging their tendrils around, til they hit something, feeling it, then latch on. allowing themselves to grow ever higher. classical music, apart from a few select composers, is rather soothing and is in the middle harmonies of our soundrange, ranging up to the higher. but its always pleasing and soothing (perhaps because it was written for irritable and bored kings, always a dangerous beast to tackle, best to keep them as soothed as possible, perhaps?) and unlike a vibrator, not a contstant drone, the vibrator may be pleasing, to some, on some bodyparts, but imagine that all day long. if plants are anything like us, id stick with the classical or some other music, perhaps rock. although perhaps there might be a point to penetrate the soil and vibrate abit, occasionally. now either, if this works, its because the plants think insects are around, either because its worried and hurries production or the plants are in symbiosis with some insects. either of which is doubtful with mj, perhaps the former. or . mj plants simply like music, like everything else seems to do. so i´d stick with the music, perhaps play for the plants some of your favorite songs ![]() im kinda playing with idea, though i do sometimes play the guitar r sing when im near the plants (its my bedroom ) | ||

Thanks mahn but all the credit go’s to the Google monster. I am not the crispiest flake in the bowl. just will’in to search a lot.. Circadian rhythm….. Wow now theres a great subject and a definite factor in plant health I wish I could understand better. I did peek off into it a few years back and to tell ya the truth bout all I could come out with that I could apply to the home garden was the economics of a 16/8 light schedule. That for me equated into a 12.5% decrease in light energy cost dure’in veg that had a ripple effect by cut’in down the heat I had to deal with so all said and done for a 4k op I drove my electricity cost down 75 bucks a month with no loss in production and the plants look’d happier. Gqmetalhead… Let me try to explain the point I was try’in to make…. With complete disregard for frequency and method and strickly look’in at it as somebody had run a shore nuf scientific experiment shak’in a plant… In the first link at the bottom this “These responses to chronic organ flexure are interpreted to be vegetatively adaptive, since they reduce the probability of stem and root failure as a consequence of wind-pressure or foraging, and to be reproductively maladaptive, since they reduce reproductive effort” reproductively maladaptive…. Was the key.. since our goal is seekers of the marijuana reproductive organ of the female plant it just seem to me that shake’in was not a positive force for our ultimate goal. However I never want to stifle a bud’in thought so the second link to more intense understand'in of cell stuff… I’ll git out here and leave ya alone with a best of luck wish.. ![]() pi

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | seems like what thier doing is shaking the plants with low frequecy vibes, yeah, that would be alot of stress and i could see how it could adversly affect sex. I'd like to know more about the ultrasound range ur slightly underneath that, I' guess I'll go goole it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i just searched google, and in an 1991 article of growing edge magazine a scientist actaully did studies on the effects of plants exposed to high frequencies, I didn't get to read it becaseut they want you to pay 5 bucks for the back issue of the magazine. What a crock, you think they'd let you read the articles online for free by now, I mean its 17 years old for christ sakes. O-well.
