I have had a different experience. Patients range from 7 to 70's and while it may not be the same in America, no one seemed to have any problems. They, of course, come to me through Rick's site, so they know what they want. I'm not into making claims, I make medicine and people use it to heal themselves, simple as that. Many of the people I work with have made their own medicine after one quick lesson and have good results.

Properly made hemp oil can work miracles, as Sam, Ronnie, Rick, Patrick, and countless others have seen. Based on all the success in curing cancer, how could this be false? To the skeptics, do you believe that everybody involved in this is all lying, and this is just a fallacious movement with the ultimate goal of nothing? Nobody is making any money out of this, and the people who sell hemp oil make barely any profit, if any at all.

I read the post, and am quite late in responding, I haven't gone through and read all the posts now either, so I hope this isn't a repeat.

hemp oil will cure skin cancer, this I believe fully. I also know a story of a man who cured his cancer by eating apple seeds, and another with something extracted from carrots. I beleive that all these things worked for each individual because they knew it would work. through positive thinking, finding a way to make your mind certain that it's going to work for you, whatever that may be.

every case is different, and is sad to try and get a lot of peoples hopes up that something may work for them, but because they are still skeptic themselves, it may not have the same positive outcome. I also noticed in every one of the stories that I've read, the people not only used they're form of medication regularly, but lived much healthier lifestyles. they dedicated everything to making sure they were able to stay positive, and that includes being good to yourself, healthy food to make sure your body functions well. you see what happens to your plant if you do something wrong with it.

hemp oil probably has great helping properties, amounst many other plants. I'll bet hemp oil in an comfrey and peppermint oil carrier would work wonders for sore joints. I'll give it a try one of these days.

Justin, I did hear of the Liberty Bell Temple in California. It is my understanding that they found these results indepedantly of Rick. I was informed that this group took the receipe straight from the Bible and used the main ingrediant as Cannabis Tops. The results they are seeing mimics the results Rick has had.

I also was led to a man who cured his own cancer with laughter? So I do know that anything is possible. On the other hand, I also know that the guy who healed himself with laughter did not take 100 other dying people and laugh them well? So, all Im saying is this is more than a coincidence because of the same results? I'll Admitt, even though Im so looking forward to the outcome of this thread, I am NOT a full believer YET! It will take my own trial and ALL OF YOUR TRIALS to make me see things in any other way! Thats why the particiapation from all available members is CRUCIAL! Even the skeptics can teach us a thing or 2...or end up being taught? Either way...WIN WIN SITUATION!

In fact, threads with titles such as this actually make it much easier for those that don't believe there is any medical use for cannabis to harden their beliefs. They just point at folks making outrageous claims such as this (as opposed to "Hemp Oil, a possible cure for some type of cancers?") and any gains we are making for MM are set back 3 giant steps.

You want to do a service for medical users/cancer patients? Prove it through clinical, double blind studies. Until then those that keep making claims such as this with nothing but anecdotal evidence will be dismissed as cranks and it will be harder than ever to actually get serious research done.

Marijuana compound fights brain cancer

Guillermo Velasco and a team of researchers at Complutense University in Spain have shown that the psycho-active chemical in marijuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol (THC), encourages brain cancer cells to begin a process called autophagy, in which the cell basically dissolves itself.

The team noted that cannabinoids such as THC showed cancer-fighting effects in mice implanted with human brain cancer cells and in human patients with brain tumors. When mice implanted with human brain cancer cells that received the THC, showed significant reduction of tumor growth.

Two patients enrolled in a clinical trial received THC directly to the brain as an experimental treatment for recurrent glioblastoma multiforme, a highly aggressive brain tumor. A comparison of biopsies taken before and after treatment showed that that tumors showed increased autophagy activity after receiving the THC.

None of the patients showed toxic effects from the treatment. Earlier assessments of THC in cancer treatment have also shown the therapy to be well tolerated. The researchers say that these findings might lead to new approaches for fighting tumor growth in brain cancer.

The findings appear in the April issue of the Journal of Clinical Investigation.

I hope this urges you to do some more research on these findings as some of the research goes back to the 70's. Of coarse, studies that do not generate BILLIONS of dollars in return usually dont get much attention? I know the title can be a touchy situation for some, including myself. I too have lost someone very dear to me about 10 yrs ago to lung cancer. The though of a cure that was available, but surpressed for WHATEVER reason PISSES ME OFF? Weather you agree with the title or not, The FACTS ARE THAT THC KILLS CANCER CELLS? YES, EVEN IN HUMANS. Check it out, brain tumor self distructing just 20 hours after injected with pure THC extract. OK this link is broken to the Seth Group, but they are a non-profit org for alternative cancer treatments. Let me find their site and I will post it. I know the video was posted on youtube also. (Sorry) Just Google THC Cancer Cure and see what pops up. Plenty of studies from Scientists and doctors? The evidence is def there!

It doesn't offend me so much as reinforces my belief that any gains we will get will be much harder because of the hyperbole used. It's hard enough to be taken seriously without a bunch of anecdotal (or animal trials) evidence being used as proof positive that it is true.

This conversation has been had via many many forums and the fanatical belief by some reminds me eerily of the fanatical stance by the prohibitionists. It's the opposite side of the same coin and does all of us that are trying to actually get something done a disservice.

Yes, there are studies out there that are very very encouraging. Dr. Guzman from Madrid did a study, Dr's. Ramer and Hinz had their research published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute Advance Access titled ' Inhibition of Cancer Cell Invasion by Cannabinoids via Increased Expression of Tissue Inhibitor of Matrix Metalloproteinases-1' is another...But without going through the aforementioned independent double blind human trials and jumping straight to "it cures all cancer!!!" is not doing anybody any good whatsoever, imho.

Ha ha! The thread you linked to was made by me... I am ThePhantom. And tell me, what else am I supposed to say? I know hemp oil cures cancer. I've talked to terminal cancer patients who were cured. I've seen hemp oil work. The scientific evidence supports it. What, are we supposed to not say the truth just because it is too bold? This is the truth; hemp oil cures cancer, and apparently cures the majority of serious human disease. I'm not being fanatical, I'm just saying the truth. It's not my fault that hemp oil can do so much, as I did not design the world or our bodies.

And MattDreads, the good thing about hemp oil is you don't need to believe in it. In fact, you can live an unhealthy lifestyle and not believe in hemp oil, but if you take it, it will work. There was one patient with lung cancer who smoked two packs of cigarettes a day while taking the oil, and his cancer was still cured. Do not doubt the power of nature, as it is greater than anything man can do.

And the Liberty Bell Temple did discover cannabis cures cancer independent of Rick, and they do have medical documentation of curing terminal cancer. With all these people curing terminal cancer, it statistically cannot be a coincidence. Rick is the one who started this all; he said it cures cancer, and it does. He also says it cures basically any human disease, so if he was right about cancer, he must be right about the other thing, as he has not come across a condition hemp oil couldn't cure.

As I've said, all the people who are skeptical about the oil and demand these double blind trials are people who haven't used the oil. Don't knock this off until you see it for youself, because anybody who tries this stuff sees it work.

Fence, Im glad I did not offend ya, and Im sorry if I reinforced any negative beliefs. I am only here on a mission to try this "Cure-All" out for myself and give others (who willingly wish) a chance to follow along for this bumpy ride! Skeptisism (sp?) is understandable, but at least appriciate the fact so many are willing to try for themselves. Although this has been discussed on other boards, I did not find it ever discussed here. I did feel the GardensCure members were entitled to the same knowledge I am gaining. Forgive me if I was wrong. Seeing as how it has been the topic of much internet discussion, shouldnt there have been a member here (out of the 5640 current active members) that jumped in and said "Wait Thats A Hoax! Dont do it- He only wants you to waste your weed!" I mean if this is soooo false, and such a well known wivestale, why arent there members here screaming Fraud? If there was, Im sure I might have reservations about starting my Dad on a treatment next week, but theres not? So either its not that well known, and we ARE doing the Patients a favor and good thing by investigating into this further, sharing are results and oppinions, Or I just put my Dad on the treatment and not tell a soul? I'm sorry our oppinions differ on the studies. While you find them encouraging, I find them AMAZING and FACTUAL- and an injustice to the sick who are being denied this Non-Toxic treatment? You refered to this as animal study when in fact it was 2 HUMAN PATIENTS. I know the Pharmas think they need to research for 'A few more Years' but Damn, wouldnt that suck if we get cancer before they decide they are ready? I just want to know the validity of these claims before someone close to me has to die because we cant help em? Is that so wrong of me or other participants? I did take offense to the aqusation that I was not trying to help/do a service for the sick or patient...THAT IS MY ONLY OBJECTIVE FOR THIS! I HAVE NO ALTERIOR MOTIVES BESIDES MY FAMILY'S HEALTH! And sadly I am NOT a scientist, nor a Dr. nor do I have the means to fund such a trial? What I do have though is the capability to try this out for myself and give others the option to participate.
