High, Matt. I am having one of the oldest patients look at these forums. She will get back to me on how we are going to handle this . This is all good my friend, have patience, cause patients are cautious. This is a Parkinsons patient with doctor support and documentation--mediwiet qualified and it sucks!!! I'm sorry, but that is correct. There are some people who just completely dismiss this without looking at the evidence, and that is being too skeptical. As I've said, there are many people who have used this oil successfully, and Rick's personal story is very convincing as well, so it is unfair to dismiss it just because it sounds unbelievable. Is that too much to ask? I'm not asking anyone to drop everything, completely believe, and become a full-fledged supporter, but just to acknowledge that there is a possibility this is legitimate.

More importantly, JustJointGirl, that is amazing that your father is actually going to meet an oil producer directly! I'm positive he is going to see some great results, and I look forward to you telling us about them.

Refining bud to oil for medical treatment is of course the preferred means of delivery...both in the body and in the mail. I'm wondering however...and topical treatment aside...why not just eat bud? For anyone wanting to avoid the potentially explosive refining process, and is seeking medical treatment, not narcotic highs...eating a pound of bud over the course of several days, week, whatever...is a perfectly viable means of delivering THC to the body yes? It certainly is more dignified than a hemp oil colon cancer suppository eh. Anyway.

Marijuana, were it not blacklisted as the anti-christ by the status quo power brokers of the world...would be on every pro-organic nutritionist's and dietitian's, as well as homeo and naturpathic doctors, top list of wholesome, beneficial FOOD to consume. Resin coated bud that's been pollenated and exploding with protien and omega fatty acids seed...ya, that'd for sure be on my plate here were it not a fukn crime to grow the plant.

i think al of this is great ,and every body has there right to a opinion and the right to make up there own minds ,me my self i have herd nothing but great things about the oil through my own research and now on here ,also i think its great that peaple are going to try it for them selves becouse it is the only way to really find out ,but for sure this can not all be coincedental that peaple who take the oil are cured of there ailment many of witch were sceptics them selves or as a last fighting resort to cure them wene doctors and coventional medicine failed them and many were told its a matter of time before your dead ,so if these peaple lived and they should of been dead ,well they would of been if they listend to there doctor,i have to belive that some thing if fore sure working here ,becouse if it wasnt they would be dead ,so for me im going to belive this works untill i see it proven other wise

Exactly! How could this all be a coincidence? As I've said, the only people who are skeptical are those who haven't tried the oil. Everyone I know who has tried it has seen it work. That's why it makes me angry when I read posts that say, "It is irresponsible to make claims that hemp oil cures cancer without double-blind, clinical trials..." and such. Well, who is going to do these trials? Right now, the only thing that can be done is for people to use the oil themselves, and when they do, they see it work. I am so confident in this oil, if my own mother got cancer, I would not let her do chemotherapy. She would be on the oil from the start. Would I risk my family's lives if I wasn't 100% sure this worked?

Also, interesting note about James LeBlanc, who was cured of terminal cancer and was featured in Run From the Cure. He didn't believe the oil would work, he was extremely skeptical, but it did save him. You don't need to believe in this medicine for it to work, as is the case with any medicine.

Nigel, thank you for promoting all of the various threads dedicated to this medicine. I also think it is a good idea to take the focus away from Rick Simpson and place it on the oil, as that is what this is about. It's important to remember there are many more people involved in this than just Rick, including Sam Smith, who is present on this very forum.

I think that this type of exposure for our plant is long overdue. I'll be making a big batch for several of my sickest friends. I congratulate all the brave souls that are stepping up for this cause. It cannot be easy.

I'll be back to report the results, in the meantime, I have emailed everyone I know with the links originally posted in this thread. This is pure empowerment folks.

i disagree. There are some of us, that want to see results from a wide variety of subjects before we go about making successful claims. I'm wide open to facts and results. I'll be watching the videos this week.

The American College of Physicians (ACP) issued a new policy statement this week endorsing medical marijuana use. The group is urging the government to reverse its ban on medical treatments using marijuana.

"ACP encourages the use of nonsmoked forms of THC (the main psychoactive element in marijuana) that have proven therapeutic value," the new policy statement said.

The group also advocates research into other therapeutic uses of marijuana.

The Philadelphia-based organization, the second largest doctors group in the United States, cited studies into marijuana’s medical applications such as treating severe weight loss associated with illnesses such as AIDS, and treating nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy for cancer patients.

The ACP said the government should weigh marijuana's status as a schedule I controlled substance, alongside such drugs as LSD and heroin, given scientific evidence of marijuana’s safety and efficacy for some medical conditions.

The new policy further called for exempting doctors who prescribe or dispense marijuana for medicinal purposes in accordance with state law from federal criminal prosecution. It also recommends that patients who use medical marijuana as permitted under state laws be protected from criminal penalties. Currently, 12 states have laws allowing the use of medical marijuana, but supporters of medicinal marijuana use say the federal government is undercutting state laws through Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) raids of medical marijuana providers.

David Murray, chief scientist for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, told Reuters, "The science should be kept open
. There should be more research. We should continue to investigate."

Rob Kampia, executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project, which supports legal and regulated marijuana sales, told Reuters, "This statement by America's second-largest doctors group demolishes the myth that the medical community doesn't support medical marijuana. The ACP's statement smashes a number of other myths, including the claims that adequate substitutes are available or that marijuana is unsafe for medical use.”

"The richness of modern medicine is to carefully evaluate new treatments. Marijuana has been in a special category because of, I suppose, its abuses and other concerns," Dr. David Dale, the group's president and a University of Washington professor of medicine, said in a Reuters telephone interview.

"Additional research is needed to clarify marijuana's therapeutic properties and determine standard and optimal doses and routes of delivery. Unfortunately, research expansion has been hindered by a complicated federal approval process, limited availability of research-grade marijuana and the debate over legalization," the group said in a news release announcing the new policy.
