Nice point, pupuguru. But to be fair to you Freakshow, the method of delivery back then was in a tincture, not through smoking. However, I don't think smoking has many harmful effects either. Four people who participate in the Federal Medical Marijuana Program underwent an intense study of their physical health. One man, Irvin Rosenfeld, had consumed 11 ounces of cannabis a month for over 25 years (that is an INSANE amount!) and he was perfectly fine, and even was found to have a 108% lung capacity. If cannabis was harmful when smoked, he would have some serious problems, but he is perfectly fine (well, aside from the disease that got him in to the program in the first place).

High, Yes, I have met all of the surviving patients, back when there were still thirteen. Tashkins studies in Cali are the best, since he is a lung specialist. Check them out.

Whoah, you met all thirteen of them! I think it's down to seven now, and there were four who were included in the study I mentioned. That's pretty awesome. What was Rosenfeld like? Good man, I bet.

does anyone know where I can find naptha at a descent price? HD wants $7.50 for a quart... Rick says he gets it for $500 for 45 gallon drum... so about $10 a gallon... looking for 1 or 5 gallon buckets... his video says you need around 2 gallons to do a lb batch... I am looking to make my first batch in about a week just need to find this solvent... my wife has Ovarian Cysts and will be starting the treatment as soon as I get some made... I will keep you guys posted... also does anyone know if VM&P Naptha is pure naptha like rick says he uses? just want to make sure I am using the right stuff... and I am making my first batch from trim and buds... next batch just bud...

I'm not sure about the price of naptha, but according to this Material Safety Data Sheet (PETROLEUM ETHER) the composition of VM&P Naptha is 90%-100%, so that should be pure enough. Good luck on treating your wife, and I'm positive you will see some great results! It might take a little longer because you are using trim, but not too much longer than normal since you said there are buds in there as well.

Yes. I am glad someone else brought this up because I believe this to be true also
There is so much money being made by cancer that I doubt the government wants a cure
Its like saying we don't want war and yet it is also a money making deal
its sad but true
Later on this week I should be getting my dvd from my friend who taped it off for me
Unfortunately being on dial up has it's drawbacks and this is one of them

OK Guys! I just talked to my Dad, and he will not be making any oil untill Wednesday. He did ask a few questions about the oil, and so far I can tell you this. *This info was relayed from Rick Simpson, to my Dad for him to share with all of us*...
The oil Rick makes is made from Medical Grade BUDS. Rick has had a few ppl use the oil they made with trim, but it WILL NOT have the same potency, or as quick of a responce/recovery time as the oil made from buds. He says the oil made from trim will HEAL, but it will take a little longer to see results, and you might have to take more of the oil? The oil made from trim should give us Visual Results of Healing skin areas, but instead of it working in as little as 3 days for a skin cancer, it could take up to 2 weeks with the oil made from trim? My Dad will be on an oil made from BUD ONLY, so we should be able to see results with the Diabetes and Blood Pressure within 2 weeks. By 30 days, he should be cured? Thats what they are saying anyways! So I thought that was an important bit of info, incase someone will be preparing the oil for a life threatening ailment. Just be aware that the oil from trim will work, but not as fast as the oil made from bud. Jack Herer is a testiment to that. He started his oil made from trim. While it cured his diabetic sores and ulcers on his legs, it was not doing what Rick said it should have been doing with his over-all health. Once Rick realized that Jacks oil was from trim, he made Jack make a new batch with GOOD BUD. Within the 1st 30 days, this oil has Jack Herer a True Believer. He is now promoting this oil all over California. Everything on Jack has been imporoving since starting this oil from bud...Even brain activity that was damaged after Jacks stroke. Jacks speach is even improving! This is HUGE for the research that needs to be done with our brains! Seeing as how the medical Profession claims damaged Brain Cells can't be fixed? So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope everyone see's some amazing things! I will keep everyone posted! Please make sure to specifically state if you are using trim or bud or both as this can effect our recovery time!
Thanks Again,
JJG
Way to go.
This is very interesting news JJG
I have not been following along because somewhere along the line I adjusted my subscibed threads and my new threads were no longer being tagged for my use so i forgot about it
Your dad sounds like a real awesome person JG and jack Herer is awesome
Very exciting news and glad you are so involved
I think everyone should have a father like yours

It's amazing that JustJointGirl was able to get her father to a top-of-the-line oil producer, and because of that, I think she and her father will become driving forces for support within this forum and the world!

As for the cancer industry, with what Freakshow said, I don't think it's any surprise something like this is being witheld. Think about it from a doctor's perspective. You go to school for eight years to become an oncologist or radiologist, start making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, then something comes along that can take it all away. Your life's work goes down the drain because of that. However, that is NO excuse! You can't kill people for your career! If they wanted to do that, they should have become prison executioners.

Rick has told me stories from patients about how their doctors lied to them and said they still had cancer even when they didn't. I've had my own personal experience with a lying doctor, so these things do happen. It's horrible, but we can and will stop it.

I have to agree with you. I think it is totally awesome on SO MANY levels.
Having her OWN flesh and blood support her so fully and completely is truly touching and inspirational. I'm actually kind of choked up about it. It speaks volumes in so many ways.
I'm totally IMPRESSED with Rick Simpson and what HE is doing but to be brutally honest here I think what Joint Girl and her father are doing together is PURE food for the soul.
It makes my spirit sing and my heart warm and fuzzy knowing that supportive family bonds still exisit.
It makes me smile like I do when I see a happy old couple together.

These are examples of pure honestly from the heart in the search for the truth and one can't help but be deeply touched by it.

With the BS we are continuously bombarded with on a daily basis, it is comforting to know that the opposite in mentality actually still exists.

Yes I highly doubt that in the year 2009 with all the new technology there is: that there still is no cure for cancer. It just doesn't sit true with me instinctively.
I have known a woman who had a breast removed only later to discover that the doctor had mixed up patients. THATS how much faith we put in these doctors and at times it can become discouraging.
I'm not knocking down the entire medical estblishment. OF COURSE it has a place in our times of caring for people
I just think most people put too much blind faith in a system and do not realize that many of the decisions made AREN'T in the 'best interests' of the patients.

My hats off to all of you who are actively involved in this project.
