mj will most likely not help anxiety, especially if you've got any kind of aversion to the drug. another repeat

clear your 'headspace'. meditate. change your surroundings to something more calm. look at your daily lifestyle, and by all means, if you can't get over it, make sure to seek help.

be careful trying mj for anxiety though, it's not known for making people less paranoid/anxious. lol

Anxiety and depression are often problems caused by imbalances in brain chemistry. Take me for example. I was perfectly fine all my life, then depression and anxiety came out of nowhere and became extremely problematic. My family has a strong history of it, so at least I know where it came from, but it is real and it is horrible. Anxiety and depression usually do need medication, and even strong changes in surroundings can't stop it. I have used hemp oil for depression, and for anxiety for my friend, and it has worked in both cases on the first try. I look very much forward to when hemp oil is widespread so I can stop this. I used to think depression was a joke, or not serious; I would think, "Why doesn't the person just go do something fun?" Well I was at Ocean City, MD for the past week and even there, in those beautiful surroundings, the depression still attacked, and I hate it! It's not something you can control. What makes me even angrier is that what I feel is absolutely nothing compared to others' conditions, which hemp oil can also heal.

JustJointGirl, I look eagerly forward to the results you have from your oil. Also, it is great that JAngel stopped by, and I am happy to see the initiative that GreenPassion has taken in bringing this movement to the next level. The cannabis legalization effort is more than just a movement, this can turn in to one of the biggest revolutions in human history; not can, but will. When we finally win... well, that will be a good day, to say the least.

that's exactly what psychologists believe as well. I aim to prove them wrong one of these days. I myself am proof of that, but it needs to be more scientific. working on that

if you'd like I could copy in exactly what it says in my psychology book. talks all about the chemical imbalaces of dopamine and serotonin. my book even breaks down the medication they give and for what reason. my knowledge over this subject is not in shortage.

serotonin and dopamine are naturally occuring chemicals in your body. when you have a cold, and your throat hurts, it could be because your sinus are plugged causing mucus not to flow properly. a reason why some get heartburn badly. but it's still being blocked by something.

again, professional psychologists tell me I'm wrong as well, so don't listen to me. and no, just strong changes in your surroundings will not cure you, but it may be the stepping stone to motivates you to want more for yourself. it may not have the highest rate of success, but with a strong enough will power, and a true want to get better, you've already got a lot in your favour. smoke or oil may also be that stepping stone, but the bottom line is you have to do it yourself in the end, or you're never actually over your 'cold'

those friends of yours that it helped, they were already smokers?

Yes, we both already smoke cannabis. Believe me, I have used a lot of willpower in this situation, but sometimes it is just impossible. However, it is true that John Nash overcame his schizophrenia with sheer willpower, and schizophrenia is the worst of mental illnesses. If he can do it, I suppose I and many others can do it!

Red face will power is the cure for mental illness

mj is a tool not a cure Justin.

MJ allows the user to observe the schizophrenia in their head, and exert some control. Realize as thegangasmoke noted, your subconscious and your everyday thoughts are separate; being bipolar is quite normal.

people who take chemicals to control their subconscious, are fighting nature, just adding to the sense of confusion and chemical imbalance.

Letting your subconscious rule your everyday thoughts is what is abnormal; you have to exert willpower to get them going in the same direction. mj is useful in objectifying this process, making it real, something you can manipulate.

mj provides the motivation to take your head and body beyond chemical imbalances and daily drama; in a sense rise above it all. Yes there are days you feel crap; the universe is out of balance, not you. days full of idiots and mishaps; but you can see the funny side.

mj will not cure mental illness, and in conjunction with certain circumstances, can exacerbate or contribute to mental illness. It is however a useful tool in making sense of your head; making fun of the world. lol nigel

here's some pics of a man fighting his subconscious.

I have to disagree with you in this case, Nigel. These disorders are very real and curable. When my friend took the oil, his anxiety dropped to zero, and usually he is constantly worrying about something. If that's not curing it, then what is? It truly is hard to overcome these things. You can tell yourself, "I am above this," and such, but sometimes it's not enough, especially with schizophrenia. When you are hearing voices and hallucinating, it is difficult to focus. Hemp oil seems to restore all neurotransmitters to a perfect balance, which means that most depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders could disappear. I would estimate hemp oil could cure at least 50% of mental disorders, but since there are many that are not rooted in neurotransmitters, like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, I'm not sure how effective the oil would be for that.

Judging from my personal experience treating mental disorders, and what I've heard from Rick, hemp oil is the best treatment in existence for mental disorders. For those that do require medication, which is the majority, hemp oil is the ideal medication, and could even possibly eliminate the need for cognitive and/or behavioral therapies. This medicine has amazed me many times in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if it continued to do so.

hahaha, thanks for another laugh my friend.

everyone is different. I think you might find people more keen to listen if you'd stop proclaiming that it cures everything. I do believe it has multiple, maybe even hundreds of different uses.

good job though, I'm happy to hear that you and your friend were able to utilize mj as your tool justin. no matter the circumstances, mental issues are the hardest addictions to break.

[edit] schizophrenia doesn't always mean voices and hallucinations. I was even considered for a mild form there of, until they decided to call it an anti-social personality disorder. lol

Red face lol we describe the same process Justin,

you objectively in that mj effects neurotransmitters and getting things in balance.

Myself subjectively in that i believe mj slows the subconscious; speeds up the everyday thought, so they are in synch.

The voices are loud, the hallucinations vivid, the depression and manic creativity constant companions in my head; yet only i am real.

You would describe it subjectively as a cure, i would describe it objectively as commonsense. lol nigel

Interesting. By the way, I am familiar with the different types of schizophrenia, such as disorganized, paranoid, catatonic, residual, and undifferentiated, but in my prior example I used the most severe symptoms.

Dont get me wrong I love weed as much as all of you. But i believe it can be used and abused like anything. Cannabis is NOT a cure for everything. Although I'm sure it has hundreds or even thousands of repressed uses.

It is not irrational for one to argue that Cannabis has many potential repressed purposes thanks to prohibition...and its medical values..regardless of their legitimacy in the case of the individuals claiming its benefits ..its their body and in my opinion the patient knows best and the doctor can only treat what the patient tells him.

Ive been told personally by cops mj has no medical value at all. This proves there are people out there that dont even accept marijuana has any medical value what so ever nevermind multiple medicinal benefits.

The rick simpson story i agree does indeed portray Cannabis as a saving grace however I think in many peoples case they truly believe that it is.. and it may or may not be.

I personally use cannabis for more than one medical reason myself .. however i don't think Cannabis cures Asthma but its definitely a threat to the synthetic pharmaceudical industry. I think it will be recognized Cannabis can be used to aid and benefit many ailments..

you cant come across so strong when youre trying to ease the squares into even listening to anything Cannabis related nevermind understanding it.

Unforuntately rather then the government funding medicinal marijuana research they continue to research the effects
of marijuana prohibition against all .contradicting all scientific and historical Cannabis related evidence.

Prohibition distorts the perception of Cannabis for everyone including most of those who use it.

I believe it was Aldous Huxley when referring to society used the terms "scientific dictatorship" and "historical amnesia" but he couldn't be any more accurate in the case of Cannabis history and that the current law and education system clearly contradicts the scientific and historical evidence.
