![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes, apparently DMSO increases the rate of absorption, so it could work well with the oil, as in making it work faster. In all honesty, the oil already works very quickly, and I'm not sure if speeding it up would be a good thing. If anything, it would probably be best for topical applications, and Wikipedia does say it is used in that manner (on the skin). For questions like these, the only way to find out is through experimentation.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | DMSO got really popular in the late 1970's when jogging started to enter the mainstream. The problem with it back then was it wasn't medical grade for humans and the closest thing to safe purity was approved for veterinary use only (and thus hard to get). It became commercially available but wasn't USDA approved. Thing of it as something that grandma used to make liniment. You want to be really sure of it's purity and reliability as it's a close relative of turpentine. It will go right through your skin like you think, and take everything dissolved in it along with it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, we used to use DMSO on our show horses - as early as the seventies. We always used gloves when applying the stuff as it soaked through your skin and would leave a bad tast in your mounth. I know, I have tasted it! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It doesn't sound like it would taste very good. Wait, could you taste it just from it going in to your skin anywhere on your body? If so, that would be very interesting.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well if it does indeed accelerate the oil, I'm sure the breath can be well tolerated. But as I said, I don't think acceleration is needed, but if it did work, why not use it?

JG--Hey girl, thanks for all this stuff you are enlightening us with. Glad to hear all the good stuff with you and your dad going on. Are both of you tokers?? I ask, cause I'm wondering if a seasoned smoker needs to start with higher doses, or being a pot smoker or not has nothing to do with the healing abilities. I haven't backtracked thru this whole thread yet, so sorry if you already answered that I'll probably find in the next day or so. I'm a pot cooker and have butter in the freezer, so already took pictures of a couple moles I have and now have thc butter under bandages on 2 moles and let you know if I see any changes. Thanks for the pm also, just been to busy to personally send a thanks back to you. That old coffee maker idea too, damn you are full of great ideas, so keep them coming. Happy Healing Alleycat
