  | JJG Great idea on the old coffee maker... I will get oil made in the next day or so.... I ground up 2 ounces today in a food processor to a fine powder... then I put that into 2 jars and covered with Everclear.... that should be ready for filtration in a week or so.... I will do the ISO extraction 2moro with another 2 ounces.... I will let you guys know how that goes for sure.... AC glad to hear you are trying some of your butter... do you think THC oil will work also? Kinda same concept as THC butter... I have a bunch of that sitting in the fridge so I think I will try and talk the wife into putting some on one of her moles that she is worried about... got her to ingest a peice of gumby hash when she got home tonight.... I will have her taking a rice size chunk of that morning and night until I get some actual HEMP oil made for her....

| That's fantastic that you are making the oil soon snowboarder. It is certainly interesting that even cannabutter has healing abilities, despite the cannabinoids being much less concentrated. However, if you can get the oil, that is much more effective, but cannabutter seems to be a great alternative. | ||

Hey Alley, Glad to see ya here! Yes, my dad and I are both tokers, but honestly My Dad is not a 'seasoned' toker  He's kinda a light-weight compared to the rest of the family? He NEVER 'wakes and bakes' like I, instead he waits untill at leas 4:20 PM to smoke for the day. He cant get motivated if he smokes in the morning, and he don't smoke before work or anything important. The guy he was with that made the oil was even shocked at what my dad could consume his first day? He said my dad must have a high tolerance to THC for it not to realy affect him the first days on the oil. I too took a full oral dose one day, just to see what happened. ???? NOTHING??? I have been a smoker for 15 yrs. (daily) so I didnt expect it to do much, I even forgot I had taken it.SNOW, congrats on making the oil! I know it was nerve-wracking grinding up 2 oz. in food processer I havent got to do that YET! I am donating the Ms. Strawberry Haze to some ISO Qick Wash Oil so I can compare the 2. As sad as it is to say BYE BYE to Ms. Strawberry, she never grew right anyways? She's a weird one for sure! She never grew much buds, instead she just got hairy, and her hairs and leaves are covered in trichs. The little bit of buds I did get off her (1/2 oz - 3/4 oz ) Taste like sh*t? I dont know where she went so wrong, or what I did to mess her up, but SHE AINT RIGHT? So she will go to the oil! I should have aprox. 2 oz off her including her trim. (She's mostly trim?) YESTERDAYS UPDATE- 6/14/2009 Sorry for not being around yesterday, my Day was quite hecktic. I didnt get a chance to measure my cyst untill last night (about 36 hours after last measurement) and I never received another oil app in morning, only 1 last night.As of last night, the cyst is still shrinking/softening going from 7mm x 9mm to no being 6mm x 7mm. So the first day the reduction was WOW by 1/3 in size, the next few days its still shrinking, but not as fast. The other small cyst we are treating is really nothing bigger than a very small pimple/ingrown hair and its almost cmpletely flat now. It almost feels like I could 'pick' it off, but I'm not going to. I am just going to leave it alone, and apply some more oil when I see my Dad. JointGirl | ||

| I guess in this case the oil is following a logarythmic function, since it went faster in the beginning but is starting to level off, although it is still clearly healing the cyst. Sorry about the dysfunctional Ms. Strawberry plant, but at least now you won't feel so bad about converting it all in to oil. As always, I love hearing about positive results with hemp oil, and I'm happy things are going well with you and your father. | ||

Yeah however long, less than a day for my butter bandages, and holy crap I can see the difference already too, blows my mind. Give me a couple days of it going this way to be sure it's not just me being hopeful, but got macro pictures that I can see the difference in. It lightened up the brownish color, and also evened out the color of my mole. It also had a rough spot that is now smooth. 2nd butter bandaid going on in minutes. Happy Healing Alleycat | ||

| I find it so interesting that cannabutter is having this effect even when it is so much less concentrated than hemp oil. Apparently concentration only matters for speed and not effect, although I am sure it is vital for serious conditions. | ||

UPDATE- Dad- Dad is doing great. No big changes. He was off the oil for 2 weeks and has now been back on it for 6 days. He still feels GREAT. He still has NOT needed 1 pain pill since starting the oil 3 weeks ago. The pain in his side/back is almost completely gone! He still feels a sensation sometimes in that area, but not pain. And he has to go searching/feeling around on his side/back to even locate the problem area. His energy level has been TOP NOTCH, although he did take a nap during the day yesterday, it was the first nap in 3 weeks. (This coming from a guy who couldnt sit up for more than a few hours at a time) ME- Sorry Guys for not being around much in the last day or 2 but I'm down with the flu! Head cold, chest cold, sore throat and achy ears! PLUS taking care of 2 babies on top of all this so...Please bare with me! I did not get the cyst measured yesterday, and again I only received 1 treatment before bed last night. As soon as I see my Dad today, I will make him re-measure it. (If I'm not laid up in the bed ) My cyst does feel a bit flatter, but it is not shrinking in size as fast as it did the first day? Joint Girl | ||

| hi all, i have been following this thread for some time now and would like to join in on the experiment. JJG sounds like you are having great results! thank you for being so involved your passion inspires many! ALLYcat glad to hear that butter is helping the moles, i have a few i would like to treat. but the main reason i want to get on board is one of my best friend's mom is a diabetic. about two years ago she lost her leg due to infection. she has been on pain pills, has high blood pressure, and is now on dialysis every other day or two days. would hemp oil help? or would the dialysis filter out all the THC before it had a chance? i know this is not really a science and there are no facts about this treatment yet but just looking for your opinions. thanks and happy healing

| I want to document the date. Hubby & I made BHO from some buds that I didn't like the taste. I've had two doses (about the size of a grain of rice) at 2:50P (got no buzz) and again at 3:30P. Now I have a mild buzz. When I take the doses, I can still taste the bad taste, but the quantities are so small, I can take it. Below is a picture of the extractor we used & about 1/3 of the finished product. Next time we are going to use coffee filters too, to try to keep green matter form getting through.

| I made oil yesterday.... I used a ISO wash.... I still have 2 ounces soaking in Everclear and about 3 ounces to do a Naphtha extraction with still... I put some in a bandage and on 1 of my wifes moles that the docs said needed ANOTHER surgery.... we will see about that... we are changing her bandage once daily in the evening... I will keep you guys posted.... also she will be ingesting it to try and cure her ovarian cysts soon... I am getting some capsules to put it in for her... I feel the taste would turn her off from the treatment.... here are some pics of the oil...   snowboarderCO42
