I am STILL waiting on the oil I purchased for my Dad from one of RS recomendations. I think I have came to the conclusion that I am NOT going to get my Dads oil either?
In all fairness, let me say this...

When I first spoke to RS about obtaining oil, he said he has 2 people in the states that he could recomend. Both guys were trained by RS in making the oil. He told me that 1 guy has been making it for a while now, and the other guy is JUST getting started. He gave me both of thier numbers. I called both, leaving a message each time. The first guy to call me back seemed interested in helping me. He was the guy who was JUST getting started in all this, and had only helped a few family and friends. He owns a dispensary in California and was interested in making this oil available on a donation basis. He was very nervous about dealing with unknown ppl, and asked if my Dad would fly to Cali to meet him. He wanted to meet my dad and teach him how to make his own oil. He offered my dad the chance to go meet sme others on the oil and hear first hand what its doing for them. My Dad is on a fixed income, and I made this clear from the begining that he did not have alot of extra $ to throw around. Dad agreed to go to Cali, staying 4 days to go make & take some oil. All this happened, and worked out FINE. No $ was ever asked for, this guy was just 'helping' out. While my Dad was there, another person of this 'group' was busted taking oil over state lines to a minor. This guy was arrested, and put the rest of the 'group' along with my Dad, nervous about what was happening. My Dad never asked to bring any oil back, as he was way to worried about carring it on a plane. After returning home, this guy contacted my Dad a time or 2 asking how my Dad felt, and any changes from taking the oil for 4 days. My Dad liked what he was feeling, and we asked if we could purchase some oil and have it sent through the mail. (We knew we could make the oil ourself, but we were still 3-4 months away from getting the bud) We asked if we could purchase 1/2 a treatment, and hopefully by the time we were finished with the 30 grams, we would be on our way to completing the rest of the treatment ourself. This guy agreed, and we sent out $1500.00 through Western Union. The next day, we received our first tube of oil. It was over-night express shipped, and the guy called to make sure we got it. He said the other tubes would all be mailed seperatly. Long story short...We never heard from him again? His phone has a weird message saying "Were sorry, the person you are trying to contact is not accepting calls at this time. Please try back later". This is the same message we've received for a month now? I spoke with RS a week ago, and He too says he has not been able to get ahold of this person either, so he quit giving out his name over a montha go. He says he only recomended him to 5 people because of the communication issues. Now the 1st guy he recomended me to is still there at PT and many ppl are having success getting their meds from him? The guy I went to never was a member on that site, and as far as I know, never has been? RS was very upset acting when I told him, and he says the purpose of his site is to EDUCATE PPL on how to MAKE Thier own meds, and he always strongly suggests never purchasing it. He feels he's left in a tough spot for ppl who are dying in in immediate nedd of the oil. In all fairness, this was discussed with me before ever purchasing it. He does STRONGLY SUGGEST MAKING YOUR OWN, and getting informed/educated about cannabis and what/why its working for you. He does not want his name associated with selling oil, as he states "He personally has NEVER sold a treatment, but gave away ALL of it!" He does want to help ppl out with obtaining oil, but he would prefer you to make your own. He only has faith in the oil, NOT THE DISTRIBUTORS? I do not want to reveal too much info about my supplier, as I never have talked with anyone else who has ever used him. I dont know what happened to him, being naive I want to believe something happened beyond his controll? I would rather sit here and think he is in jail or something, than to sit here and think he just scammed me? I dont know what to make of all of this? Idont know what to think about RS, PT, or the guy who has My $? I do know that what the oil did for my Dad in the short amount of time he was on it was nothing short of a miracle though! What ever it has done for my Dad has been enough improvement to make him still want to continue on with a treatment. He has not had any oil in almost a month now, and he is starting to feel some things slowly returning. He doesnt want to feel the way he did before he started the oil, and we are determined even through all this chaos to continue on and FIND SOME ANSWERS! I will get my Dad some more oil, It might just be a lil longer than expected? I do have some trim that I will be using to extract as much oil as possible from. Within a few months time, I should be able to have my Dad back on some TOP NOTCH, HIGH QUALITY HEMP OIL. I do not hold RS responsible for any of this, as I was warned in the begining straight from him?

i have been on the computer for days now on different sites trying to get my question answered . i am wondering about hemp oil and what is the best bud to buy to make it for curing cancer? is it ok if it has been sprayed with chemicals and not grown organicly ? how do i know which one has the most THC? please if anyone has made it and has any info i would greatly appreciate you responding back .

The magic kind.

Here is a list of medical strains and their uses, that might help you pick a strain. Notice there is a lack of strains for "curing cancer". Might be a reason for that.

The best way (since you are on a growing site, you should expect this response) is to grow it yourself if you can manage it, securely. That way you know exactly what has been used to grow your medicine.
As well it's much more wallet friendly than buying commercial.

Check out seedbanks for a general (I suspect exaggerated at times) THC percentage for strains listed in their sales blurbs...err, strain descriptions I mean; there's a seedbank forum here so you can peruse that for seedbank names.

As for the making of it, there are threads, such as this one in a subforum under the harvesting forum that are about making oil.

This is far from proven, scientifically. I wish you luck and long life.

thank you fencewalker, but dont think theres time to wait for 2 to 3 month for it to grow thats why i wanted to see if it was ok to just buy the bud.

That's understandable. As long as when you toke on it, it doesn't seem real harsh or have a chemical undertaste to it, than it should be fine to make hemp oil out of (but I'm not an expert by any means on making oil).

If you are going to be buying from dealers, there's really no way to know what you are getting, dispensaries in a medical marijuana state might give you more of a choice. It just depends on where you live, I guess.

You have all reason to be mad... but indeed, you can't blame anyone. It's a HIGH risk thing to try and cure cancer. You know? Especially with such massive quantities of a miraculous substance... I really wish I could help you, the best advice I can give you is to administer it in different ways. The oil is NOT the only way. He's on flaxseed oil right? From that you can the correct balance of EFAs... however, the X factor, pure THC... experiment! You can do it! NEVER LOSE HOPE! This may sound strange, but... I love you, and you must show the world that in fact this stuff WORKS! I think about this situation quite often, and honestly I feel like sinking within... it is the need to help.

I was just wondering why this guy would have been arrested for "Hemp" oil. I always thought that Hemp oil was legal...I mean I can buy it at the store...

Are we talking about a different kind here? more potent or such? I just don't understand WHY this guy would have been arrested for the oil..like maybe he had some bud with him? Maybe I missed something in all these posts.

Yes, the oil we are experimenting with is PURE THC Oil, also known as Rick Simpson Hemp Oil. Also refered too as, Hash Oil, BHO, Honey Oil, Hashish, ISO Oil, and many other names for it. I think the different names come from the different extraction methods. What you are refering too is Hemp SEED Oil, wich is legal to purchase, but does not contain THC. The THC is the active ingrediant in this RS Hemp Oil. Its the oil extracted from the buds.

Hi JJG,

I am horrified by what is happening in your posts. Hang in there, you are brave...

My dad has given up on the oil and all other holistic remedies. He hung in there for one syringe of oil, but felt no better. No help with his pain, mood, nausea or cancer. He was taking enough to make his last dose actually get him really stoned. He's never had a 'illegal" drug of any sort in his life and freaked! His descriptive was very accurate as my very stoned "oh shit" feeling from when I have a bit more than i want... I reality shift, someone threw a new switch. He was also losing his appetite and getting nausea for the first time, after!! taking the oil until he was about to the last dose of his first syringe. it was doing him no good for a lot of money and he said it tasted like "axle grease." :-) (i told him not to stick it on his tongue, but he's stubborn.

Worse, his cancer has spread and taken over is lungs while he was on the oil. They almost called the red cross to get me home. Instead of moving to my new location in early Nov., i fly directly to him with husband, pets, and all that was not shipped.

I hope he can hang on until then and the cancer slows again! i talked to me 7 hours last night (well midnight to 7am!) like he'd never see me again. Stories I've never heard. he's never really talked to me about the past, let alone war stories and such. I don't even know him. Time is out for us, but I hope this oil will save may other lives!

The man who supplied him with oil was a really super guy and my parents are still grateful to him for trying to help them. JJG, according to the postal code, not the same guy as you. My folks were terrified of sending payment, then later giving an address. It too arrived before the payment even cleared... the next day! They only had enough money for the first month. I cringe at what happened to you! You have no oil and it was working, and now no money for oil from another source... not to mention any trust. There seems to be a lot of nice people on this site. I hope one of them can contact you and help you. I made a itty bity amount from scrap and an even smaller from duff. Both were very strong. Surely SO here doesn't want their duff or scrap!! ??? I had enough to make 3 "servings" into capsules with activated mj to fill the space. Capsules fly easily. ehem

Despite the big mess you have now, you know this oil works for your dad.... you are one lucky girl to have even the knowledge of something that will cure him. I hope you get that darn oil soon!
