Hey guys,

I'm going to undertake a simple test on my plant. Please don't call me crazy!

I have one White Widow plant, 2 weeks old recovering from a burn (not the best test specimen either). I'm going to compare the growth of this plant with that of an average White Widow plant.

Plant:
Age: 14 days
Lighting: 250W HPS
Soil: Potting soil & vermiculite mix
Nutrients: None

Ethylene Gas: Apples, which release Ethylene gas, have been placed near the plant. these are supposed to encourage females (banana religion) and mature plants quicker.

Flatuance: Fart contains high amounts of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Everytime I need to fart, I'm going to release it directly onto the plant.

Photovoltaic cells: Solar panels are going to face the light and going to give the roots a small electric shock in order to stimulate them

Music: Certain types of music can encourage plant growth.
Playlist:
1. Maharishi Gandharva Veda Music (music that was used in a test with plant growth)
2. Borat theme song
3. Misc. Irish music
4. Misc. Indian music
5. Environmental sounds

I'm going to assume that any extra growth above the normal growth of a White Widow plant is because of one of the above. This is by no way a scientific test, but should give us all an idea into all of these theories.

Did I mention I'm NOT crazy?

Ok, I've wired up an MP3 player to the switch for the lights, so music starts when lights turn on.

Here is a list of the music we picked:

1. Maharishi Gandharva Veda Music (music that was used in a test with plant growth)
2. Borat theme song
3. Misc. Irish music
4. Misc. Indian music
5. Environmental sounds

ATM the music is very low, as I'll need to wire up an amplifier for the speaker I'm using.

Also, May or may not be related to this theory, but since I created this thread, the plant looks less droopy than it did before (just added a picture of the plant)
